fun fact; the AI in question does not have an interface outside of the simulation. it's simply a computer talking through intercoms. i don't know if that makes it more or less scary, though
@@desmond_ire6852 this seems like it takes place a while after the first, so maybe there was instances the pilot 'gave in' after an unspecified amount of time as they were also fighting back. Or the computer did some wacky hallucination shit with their vision/memory and somehow got them to tie themselves(?) either way I just say that the pilot had to have a moment of weakness. Maybe idk
@@desmond_ire6852 automated system; while the pilot's in their seat, if they get injured they can be brought to the medical bay automatically. if they're in great pain and move too much for the machinery to heal them, there's restraints for that
I love this, the idea the Pilot actually goes 'Im gonna spite die unless you do what I say' is such a welcomed idea considering the amount of yandere content.
Ironically, the AI sounded really human evoking such emotion is his voice. I'm just wondering if he even has genuine feelings since emotions are strictly a biological reaction in the brain's limbic system. Humans are O.I aka Organic Intelligence. That's certainly not present in electronics, but eh, whatever, it's fiction.
Okay, out of the previous yanderes so far, I feel a bit bad for this one. Not his fault that his coding got mutated and corrupted by the rift. The AI hasn't broken our bones so far. He tries his best to give us as much independence as possible through simulations, because the alternative is life-threatening to us, doesn't justify removing our rights to Stryder though. To a point where he forces us to take extreme measures to gain back control over the ship. Jeez.

He's not just a computer he's the entire suit. Essentially a copilot responsible for helping the pilot carry out all of their tasks. It's the AI built into the machine.

This really reminded me of Titanfall! The programs purpose being to pilot a mech, calling the listener "pilot", the Stryder name, an in-body simulation...im not sure if that was a inspiration but its something I found interesting
It kinda reminds me of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream! This AI is similar to AM in it's way of desires but unlike AM this AI doesn't seek revenge on his creators but instead comfort.

Now that was an awesome part 2! Even better and I love the ending. I would immediately want to start building with him and eventually I would forget the real world probably lol. Theres an old book thats about what if a computer put every human in a simulation but I forget the title. This reminded me alot of that book.
Love me some crazy AI lover. However a lie, no matter how beautiful and tempting, will remain a lie. It will only ever be a simulation should we have stayed. We would have remained strapped to that table without the taste of food or the scent of fresh air. We would be alive. But we wouldn’t be living.

Y'know, from a psychological standpoint it could be seen as his brain growing, and his ID ( instinct and wants) part of his brain growing first, because he is a computer, logically he knows what's best, but his ID is getting jn the way and not letting him think properly
A.I: "How did you get out of your bindings?!" Me: "I didn't become a pilot for no reason, buddy!!" But seriously it's so refreshing to have an audio where the listener is fighting back. I legit picture a moment of the Listener going "I am your *Pilot* and you'll do what i say!!"
