Our Hobby Farm Cabins are perfect for solo adventurers, couples, or small families looking to get away. We offer a small ranch feel and are located between Saratoga Springs and Lake George.

Place
We call it our Big Tiny Cabin. It's like a small house because it's on a trailer, but it feels quite big inside with cathedral ceilings and a loft area. Despite its size, it is equipped with full-sized appliances, an electric fireplace, dining area, full kitchen and comfortable living room. It is located between our cow pasture and horse pasture and is backed by woodland. There is a creek behind the cabin that runs year round for kids to play in and lots of trails just steps from the cabin!

After almost 2 years on Airbnb, our "Cottage On The Farm" listing is doing quite well and attracting people extraordinary people from all over the world. We love meeting each new guest and the additional income allows us to grow and expand our farm and life in unexpected ways. We bought the cabin on a whim thinking that we could afford it, hooked it up, and off we went!
[Insert screeching sound...again] We were wrong about that. Little did we know there were things called zoning laws that were quickly catching up with us. As it turns out, you cannot rent, live in, or live in a tiny home, mobile home, or other unapproved structure in our city without a special permit. We were forced to close everything including our “Cottage On The Farm” advert which was working fine. This bogged us down for 6 months as we juggled permit processes, combination neighbors, endless fees, and huge losses in revenue.
Well, we are happy to announce that we won our battle and received a special permit that allows us to operate under the definition of RV/Camper. Ironically, the permits didn't allow for just one site/unit, so we were forced to go bigger with a minimum of 4 sites. Tiny Farm Inn was born and a complete development effort began. Our “Cabin On The Farm” is the first of 4 tiny homes we hope to bring online over the next few years. We hope our guests find this to be a comfortable and enjoyable option for their travel plans.
Guest access
We consider our guests "Free Range" to be mostly on the ranch :) We encourage our guests to explore, ask questions, or even get involved if they wish. The winter months are a bit slow, but when the ground is soft, we work quite hard. We ask that guests do not enter closed areas containing animals without first asking.
Horses: We made the unfortunate decision to close our horse riding business in October 2022. Since then, we have replaced equipment and have converted our ranch into its current horse boarding facility. The number of horses we have on the ranch will fluctuate depending on the number of horses we board.
