Welcome to Lookout Cabin at Wauhatchie Woodlands, a Timberroot Rustic Retreat.

Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of pristine log cabins, tiny homes, and villages on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park lands. This natural setting is located less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain and beyond.
Lookout is our only single bed cabin, perfect for a romantic getaway or as a home base for your business trip to Chattanooga. High-speed internet and comfortable office space will ensure you're productive while enjoying a private hot tub, furnished back deck, covered front porch with charcoal grill, and a truly memorable and charming space surrounded by nature.
Lookout Cabin sleeps 2 guests in a memory foam King bed in the sleeping loft. The cabins are equipped with full kitchens, smart TVs, leather chairs and more.
Whether a romantic weekend getaway, staycation, or business trip, Lookout Cabin is equipped with everything you need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga.
Starting from the back, you will find a fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees, next to the deck awaits a space for pure relaxation, your own private hot tub with curtains for extra privacy.
This living room is equipped with a comfortable leather sofa for relaxing, 2 lounge chairs and a smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with kitchen equipment including the all-important coffee maker. A small bar height table for two provides dining space. At the rear of the cabin there is an office space equipped with a spacious table and comfortable chairs.
Up the stairs to the loft you will find a memory foam king bed.
To ensure your stay at Wauhatchie Woodlands is perfect, our locally based Guest Services representatives are on call from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week.

Chattanooga is a city famous for its railroad. There is an active railroad line that borders the property to the north and I-24 is about a half mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be impacted by ambient city and train noise. Each cabin is equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize distractions.

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself, as well as a private deck & hot tub.
Your cabin is located within the Wauhatchie Woodlands, a 14-acre property surrounded by National Forest. In addition to your cabin, you can also access trails throughout the area, as well as a shared pavilion, community fire pit, and playground. Please be respectful of other guests during your stay.
