I gotta say, this comeback is the most surreal thing that's happened in my journey as a K-pop fan and SONE. Like, even though I'm watching this unboxing of the actual album and all the promotions for it, I still an just like...am I dreaming? This truly is a miracle of a comeback and I'm really happy that it's doing so well for a group of such a long run! Sure, a rookie group is kinda slaughtering them on the charts, but they're right behind them and their digitals are growing as we speak, so I'm not worried about it, especially given how SNSD specifically said that they're not here to compete, but are here solely for the fans. Even so, they surpassed the lifetime sales of Holiday Night, Lion Heart, Party and Mr Mr with just one week of sales! What other fifteen year old girl group is doing that? And the fact that we're getting so much promotional content until early September is so nice to see after the mess that was Holiday Night era! But what makes this comeback so special to me is the fact that so many junior idols are posting so much stuff related to it, be it dance challenges, mentioning it on radio shows, TV shows, or on Bubble, or even showing them buying the album themselves (like ITZY's Chaeryeong most famously). The fact that SNSD impacted the current generation that much that they all are going out of their way to mention how happy they are that their heroes are back is absolutely amazing. That's the legacy of SNSD and I feel it's (nor are they) not gonna go away any time soon.
yes, sm groups literally last forever. SES has been gone for like 15 years since 2001(debut 1997) and yet still managed to comeback in 2017 and release a 20 anniversary special album. Plus tiffany literally said we're not stopping

SNSD were the very first kpop group I got into. So this comeback means a lot to me. The very first song I heard was the boys. And I remember being so amazed by the song and mv!!
Although I listen to other groups and artists, I never buy the physical albums. Girls Generation is my favorite group, and we’ve been waiting for their comeback so I purchased the deluxe version. This album had no skips for me. I really love Seventeen, Freedom, and Closer! 💖
my favourite SNSD's song wll always be Romantic St. I looove this song so much it sounds so elegant it really makes me feel like walking down the Romantic St. with the most heart-warming and happy feeling ever haha
my favorite song from this album is Paper Plane!! it's so sweet, comforting and nostalgic and the melody is gorgeous!! my bias has always been Taeyeon, she is actually my ultimate bias! my favorite title track has to be Genie, but I also really love Into The New World, Run Devil Run, I Got A Boy and My Oh My!!💗
It’s crazy because Sooyoung started off as my bias (first love) and Seohyun was my bias wrecker, but now Taeyeon (ult) and Jessica (she really crept up on me) are my biases. My favorite era would be The Boys/1st Japanese album, but my favorite title track is Genie.
SNSD is actually the one that brought me to kpop in 2010. They're my ult group and forever be my ult kpop group. This comeback as a full group felt so unreal so I can totally feel you🥺❤️
This is really fun to watch in 2023 as it's like hearing my own thoughts when I first opened the record. It'll stand the test of time as one of the best all-time kpop records IMO. Every track is so special.
I also really liked this album! I was surprised seeing people not liking it a lot since I enjoyed it. A lot of the songs could be put into multiple playlists and made me feel happy. I think my favorite b-side might be Villain, really liked the vibes. My favorite title track as a whole is also probably the boys as well. 🥰

Girls Generation never misses! My favourite title tracks from them are Gee, Lion Heart and I Got a Boy, because those songs I can listen to everyday on repeat and not get tired of them 😍 GG's music gives me so much nostalgia even though I didn't listen to them back in the day, but their sound is so timeless! They're my favourite 2nd gen group with Apink😊
This is my first ever album I ever bought and I'm so excited especially since Girls Generation means alot to me in my 13 years of knowing them so I got both the normal version and the special version as they are special to me, Forever SONE 💖💖💖

aaahhh i was waiting for your video! when they announced an SNSD cb i was thinking about you and all the times you've mentioned that you wanted a girl's generation cb (i've seen all your taeyeon unboxings but i'm going to assume you've mentioned that in other vids 😂) i forgot who it was that said "we wanted to come back with a song that sounded like something that girl's generation would do" or something like that, and i think they executed it perfectly! the whole album was so their sound, no skips, and i haven't stopped listening to it! hyoyeon is actually my bias i hope i get her pulls! and i think my fave tts are the boys and run devil run. thanks for the unboxing! 💖

IMHO, when I first heard the title track, I was like you. It was definitely a grower that took a few listens for me to genuinely say I like it. As far as the album, when I first listened to it, it felt...kinda boring? 🏃♂️💨 But I think that's because I wasn't listening to the album the right way. All my other faves as of recently have been releasing more beat heavy music and repetitive verses. Y'know, kinda earworm music? Interestingly, this was the kind of music SNSD also did in their prime, so I guess all this music was what I was accustomed to, so upon first listen to the album, I was disappointed at the amount of mid-tempo stuff and not enough bangers and it felt kinda stale. But, I feel that was done on purpose. It seems for this album, the girls wanted to do more lyric-centered music instead of just beats, as they've got more creative control with this album. Not to mention this is something special they wanted to do for their anniversary and for the fans, so they definitely wanted it to be more personal. With that in mind, as I listened to the album again, just like the title track, it's grown on me. I feel the second half of the album sounds kinda repetitive, but the first half definitely got me grooving! I kinda hope if they do another album, they do SOME catchy/beat songs since it's what I feel most fans are accustomed to with Soshi and K-pop in general, but if they continue to do more lyric-centered songs like this album, then I understand. Not my taste as far as sound at the moment, but I'm sure as I grow older, my tastes will definitely mature just as theirs have.
I reallyyyyyyy like their first japanese album but their packaging are kinda old school considering it was also back in the day. I mean with that concept and with super deluxe packaging like the newer ones, the album will be slap if it was produce today.
I just got my standard version album today but I feel disappointed because when I unboxed the album there’s no ads and photocard with their signature at the back included on the package. 😢
my favourite girls generation era/song is Oh! and the boys ‼️ idk of this is a bit controversial but i prefer the english version of the boys compared to the korean one 🤭
The sequencing of Lucky Like That > Seventeen > Villain > You Better Run is chef’s kiss! My fav title is def You Think, followed by Galaxy Supernova and Flower Power
