Did you know that sunflower is not A SINGLE flower? It's an inflorescence, every single dot in the disc shaped bit is a flower with its own reproductive structures, and the flowers on the edge are infertile and were modified during the course of evolution to look like petals. BIOLOGY IS AWESOME.

this is really, really random. But there is something special about Carrie's eyes that I can't quite explain. I've never in my life felt so protected and warm like when I met carrie, she held my shaking hands and looked me straight in the eye and I just felt calm and like I was in safe hands (literally) and whilst watching this video I got that sensation again. Those deep brown lovely big eyes has a quality I probably will never explain, but I hope to get to look into those eyes at least once more.

I absolutely loved this video even though I've been following you for years now (since when you were in your old bedroom with the big wall covered in art and when you had your super long hair, I used to love your 'Fairy Fails' videos!). Oh Carrie! I'm by all means not new to your channel. But I had no idea you are fascinated with the Romanovs and their history. It became a tradition going to St. Petersburg with my husband for a few days every other year. Possibly August 2019 will be our next trip. We've been to the Winter Palace only once, and I was mostly interested in the Romanovs rooms. Who lived where and such. Planning to visit the Hermitage next time as well. Actually, this finally made me subscribe. I watched a couple videos recently but wasn't really too sure, because I felt like I'm a bit too late to jump on the Carrie Hope Fletcher train. Guess who jumped on it now?! I went to school for musical theatre for 3 years but couldn't really pursue it afterwards and watching all the West End videos makes my heart swoon and pretend that I could still go and do it if I had the opportunity :D

When you gave your advice to 15 year old Carrie, I couldn’t help but feel like I was getting advice. I’m nearly 17, but I definitely still worry about everything. The idea that maybe I’ll be doing what I love in 10 years and will be thinking, “Man, why did I worry so much back then?” when I think of my younger self just gave me such a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. Everything is gonna be okay. 💜

I came across your vlogs, when searching for "The Addams family musical", which my son's school will be doing in march and started following your vlogs. Likewise, I love drama, musicals etc and been doing it throughout my life on an amateur level, however hoping to get paid acting work. Like Del boy said; "The one who dares wins".

I remember the start of your channel. I remember when we came up with the name Hopefuls on twitter. I remember saying "I'll carrie the hope forever". Hi Carrie, I know it seems to be quite common for performers to do their own on-stage makeup (even in leading roles) and was wondering how casting directors know that someone is going to be good at their makeup and if you are given any guidelines or tutorials for how to do your makeup for a certain part like Wednesday for example who has a very specific look. I always think you look stunning btw :)

I have visited the winter palace 10 years ago, It is spectacular BUT if you do get to St Petersburg make the trip to the summer palace too. The gardens are just beyond beautiful, I can’t even put it into words. I was 14 at the time and it is still the number 1 best place I have ever visited!!!

I've been enjoying reading the comments on this about how long everyone has been around. My one is old old. I used to be "friends" with you on Myspace where you uploaded original songs. My sister and I loved them so much we recorded them to our mp3 player. I was there when you first got Twitter (although I didn't get the hang of it) and when you first started RU-vid with videos of you sitting on a couch in a sunny room singing songs with a guy on guitar. I phase in and out occasionally but always keep up to date. Your casting as Veronica got me into the Heather's. I've been enjoying it so much that I've been crossing my fingers that your cast will get some kind of recording. What you have achieved in my years of following you is an incredible testiment to your drive and passion for your dreams. Thanks for sharing.

I started watching your videos when I started college in 2011. I actually heard your song "Running Through Rivers," bought it on iTunes, then started watching your channel. It's still one of my favorite songs, actually. I'm about a month younger than you, and I've always enjoyed seeing how much someone my age could do and accomplish and how kind you are and just everything. Your videos have long been a bright spot in my life, and I always find myself catching up with a cat in my lap and a cup of tea in my hand when I need a pick-me-up. I also don't wear makeup at all and have always been so impressed by your makeup game. Watching you put it on just looks like magic to me!
