Now this would be the perfect - PERFECT - backdrop for a dramatic fanvid of the Palanquin crew, reunited after over a millennium, blasting through Makai trying to find Byakuren before Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae catch up with them. Intercut between them throwing distractions at the heroine trio and, perhaps, random cameos of some Mystic Square characters, are scenes of them each meeting their lady and savior for the first time. Then, as Shou tries to run interference one last time (S6 Midboss), the group encounters Shinki, who simply smiles and disappears, leaving nothing between them and their master. Song ends. And yes, dat sax.

I know this is really late, but the title of the song is "通らば頑々僧侶".

Another translation for the title is "To Defeat the Stubborn Monk!" and it's part of the Koikoi Gensokyo Original Soundtrack

Best Fire of Hokkai arrange I've heard so far. Thought it was just orchestral, but look like there is a bit of metal in it, I think. Still great though!
