I worked on this on and off for about a month so I'm really glad to finally finish it.
This is by far the longest song I've made (and there's some sections in there I'm super happy with)
I hope you like it as well :D
If you wanna use this in anything, feel free to, just let me know, I'd love to see how it's used. Same for if you wanna do a remix (of what is essentially my remix of one of Toby's songs lol).

The one dislike is probably from someone who's mad that I used Megalo-strikeback for Chara lol (Like, I know it's wasn't originally their theme lol, that doesn't mean I can't use it)

That feeling when the entire fandom blames you for the player's own choices... That's the energy of this song. Poor Chara. But nice music. I feel the ache in the second quarter and towards the end.

I feel like that desire runs through my veins just by listening to a few seconds of its melody... it feels so good... I just hope that it lasts long enough to not drive me crazy... What a gratifying feeling...

Jesus fucking christ this is literally THEE best variation of ANYTHING undertale related I have seen since I got INTO undertale(so since it came out or so). If i could do more than like this, subscribe, and put it in my legendary favorites playlist i fucking WOULD.

@@Laughing_Dragon Thankyou. And while I enjoy the more by the book remixes, the more imaginative ones have also always been my favorites. That's the fun of a true remix imo. And I mostly just make music when I feel like it (except when I'm working on music for a game or project like GUIDANCE ofc) so I don't really get burned out. Uploads are a bit irregular though.

this isn't that good of a remix. it's a complicated mess and it's hard to follow, and you've just butchered the original theme . the only thing really satisfying about this is (some) of the instruments like the violins, the guitar, and the drum rhythm and beats. but you could have added (some) reverb to the piano and certain instruments. honest criticism.

I appreciate it. This was certainly my most ambitious song, and while I'm happy with a lot of the musical ideas and variations, I might've had one too many layers going on at once, and not enough skill to really mix it properly (still don't but I'm working on that) I'll keep working on it and hopefully I can make a better version of this in the future ^.^

The "original motif" I decided to refer to as "determination" starts at 1:36 I'm not sure which bit of the song you're referring to, but I don't remember intentionally taking inspiration from Insanation. I have heard it though, so maybe I did it unintentionally. That happens a lot in music. Could you give me an example of the original motif with a time code and the part you said sounded the same?

@@freedom-verity The main bit at that time is Memory(aka His Theme) but in a bit of a different key, and put to a bit of a different rhythm. At least that's how I came up with it. I can hear how it's similar to Insantion but they're a little different if you listen to them back to back.
