I'm glad Orion is gonna get his time to shine.

This is Daemons harsh reality of being a hero. Not only just a hero, but the only one who experiences every hint of pain and death, over and over like a never ending loop. He has watched his friends die over and over in many different ways that are all brutal in itself. The fact that he’s faced it for so long while containing his sanity is insane, but I knew at some point he’d eventually snap, not being able to handle the pain that built up in the end. It’s one of those silly little tropes where the hero becomes the villain in a sense. Love the video Nathan! Every time I see the progress and it makes me happy to be a part of this channel for so long! 💜

These animations are amazing. The way the movement works is what makes you stand out among the Minecraft animators.

Honestly, Daemon rn doesn't feel like a threat. Orion didn't really put up much of a fight. Maybe if we saw him go against Derek or Faisal maybe but as of now, I feel like a little, "teamwork makes the dream work" could stop The Void just like that. What are the stakes? So Daemon not only nuked an entire town with one attack, but killed Orion as well? Holy shit. What IS the thing possessing Daemon? It seems extradimensional in nature, so my guess is some kind of Eltrich entity (one of the "greater evils" Chaos described, perhaps?) and it appears to be massively powerful, more so than any other character we've seen thus far.. Additionally, the Void took over Daemon under the guise of what seems to be an old friend of his, someone similar in appearance to Claire but one we haven't seen in any previous animations. Is this supposed to be an illusion to further psychologically destabilize Daemon, is his old friend some kind of herald to the Void, what's going on here? Why Daemon specifically? Can the Void only possess those who are heavily traumatized/mentally unstable, so it goes after the one Warrior that remembers everything? For that matter, why did the Void only show up after Ruin was defeated and/or killed? Is it the reason for Daemon's previous flashbacks/hallucinations? Is it supposed to be connected to the Avatar of Death and Vain or the lich looking guy from Desperate? If so, how? Above all else, what is this things motives? Just it does want to spread as much pain and suffering as possible? Is it specifically trying to screw with Daemon? Who IS Daemon's old friend, and how/why is she connected to the Void? Shit, the number of questions this raises is unbelievable. One last one though: where are the gods? It said in the beginning that "wherever there is creation, there is destruction" which seems to be alluding to Chaos, yet he hasn't appeared in this series at all. Did Fleur finally succumb to her illness, and is that why the world is so messed up? Bro I NEED answers.

Amazing animation. You're one of the best minecraft animators alive. The story on the other hand is no bueno. Let's go over some parts pf Orion's character real quick; 1 He is a veteran warrior who has seen and committed many inhuman things like threatening to kill someone by melting their face off. 2 He looks towards the future, looking past wrongs in the past and always striving to a better world. With those 2 very basic and fundamental parts of his character we can confidently say he acted out of character here. Him getting mad at a the bombing when he has probably seen worse, instantly moving to get revenge and kill this monster instead of trying to move to the better future where he either locks in and tries to save daemon or locks in and tries to save as many town people as possible. Okay, maybe out of character is the wrong term, simply lacks showing his very interesting ("deep") character. Then there's daemon. He needs something deeper than just general trauma. Is he mad at constantly failing? Not living up goals he sets for himself? Exceptions his previous knighthood set? Give him something that explains his character beyond everything in his life sucks, you could do that with any ec warrior. Then back to Orion. Give him an interesting parallel or anything that adds to Daemons story. As is here he could be replaced by puss in boots and nothing changes.
