I’ve always found it weird that this optimistic, romantic song came from the soundtrack of a fairly tawdry and downbeat movie, “Circus of Horrors”.The scene I’ve always remembered was a pretty young woman on a rotating wheel having knives thrown at her, and someone slows the wheel down slightly backstage and she gets a knife in her chest or throat, causing the circus audience to scream and panic.
I first heard this song at a cinema in 1962. It featured in a movie ' Circus of Horrors'. (Produced 1960.) Even then I thought the song was better than the movie it featured in.
Eu amo essa música, tenho recordações do meu 1o 💘 amor, tinha 13 anos, mais nunca consegui namora -- lo , foi 1 amor platônico, só sonhava c ele dormindo e acordada ❤ foi lindo apesar não estar com ele de perto só via ele de longe. Até hoje quando ouço essa musica me recordo dele, ja passou ja namorei e amei varias vezes, casei e depois divorciei, de de1 tempo casei de novo estou até hoje com ele, o meu etermo namorado ❤.
