Jesus Christ Superstar was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and first performed on Broadway in 1971. This song, also called I Only Want to Say, is one of my favourites, and although I wouldn't call my singing a 'professional' standard, I would say I nailed the G5.

This is just a video of me showing off my new piano. Some people were complaining to me that John Cage's 4'33" wasn't the best choice, so I thought I'd try this song.
This video is copyright claimed, and understandably so. I won't be disputing it, because I don't think this is fair use enough to hold up against the owners. So, I'm sorry if you get an ad or something in the middle of the video.

WoW 🤩, you are absolutely Amazing!!! I’ve been a fan of Jesus Christ Superstar from the beginning. Heard the broadway album in school from our music teacher Miss Wong, and Loved it 😍!!! Then the movie. I even got to meet Mr. Ted Neely when I worked at the Grand Opera House! You my dear are Amazing 🤩!!! Keep up your Fantastic performances!!! i don't know if I'd call this song "happy" haha. I thought the screaming of "whyyyy" made that pretty clear. and also the thing about Jesus's sweat being blood is more likely a simile. "his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground." glad you enjoyed, though.

WHOAH. I'm so glad I encountered this cover, it's absolutely mind-blowing! Your voice is very unique, maybe not that polished as the professional musical singers but it makes it somehow even more authentic and fun to listen to!?? And I absolutely agree that you just NAILED the G5. And your piano? If it's from hearing, than seriously, kudos, I love it. Everything is very impressive, tysmm for such an awesome cover of one of my favorite musicals!

Not bad !! Considering the timing in this beautiful piece of music Voice; well, l can’t sing it! Onya for this. It’s a little tricky at first; but you nailed it better than most! BRAVO! It’s one of my favourite pieces; the whole opera is brilliant. I’m a pianist/ (1st) & guitar teacher. Non musos don’t realise once you’ve played something a thousand times, in learning a piece, sometimes it can take a year/years to learn one piece; depending of course! Thanks for this Mr. Penguin! 🎹😈✨
