one of the main things i love about peter is that instead of putting music over a time lapse he puts commentary of his thoughts on it and much more and i love that

Peter is the kinda guy to make art with his blood and then casually bring it up later in the vid and after *THAT* tell us a story about how one time he fell real bad in the third grade.

The drawing makes me think of saxophones and cherry soda.

There's a Positive Psychology theory about the whole 'in the zone' things people do. they call it Flow and its like the key to job satisfaction or something where you're engrossed in what you're doing, you're not bored or overwhelmed and you're in a state where you just keep working without really thinking about anything else.

listening to a guy talking about where packets of air come from hasn't been more intriguing

The roughness of the lines and the small bleeds from this pen satisfies me on a new dimensional level. The imperfections look so perfect in the big picture.

I wouldn't watch your ink and pen videos if there wasn't this amazing commentary. Sometimes I listen to every word and other times I get to the end and I have no idea what you talked about but just listen to the sound of your voice. If it was just a speedpaint with music it wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

The paint stain makes it probably bad to a lot of people, but I find it extra cool. I would love to have a conversation like this with a visitor: "Did the painter did that on purpose? When you were explaining the ink on your fingers the next day I swear I related so hard lol. I love looking at my fingers and. Hands after I paint because I know that meant I got a good painting out

When you are drawing, its improvisation or not ?

It's neat that it flexes, I know a lot of Japanese manga dip-pens are flexible to feel more like brushes--if someone was used to using those, I bet this recycled pen would be really fun to use.

This reminds me of a very large wild and wacky Chinese Dragon standing over a small tree (where the ink spill is) and beyond it there might be a tiny village there somewhere. I agree, if you don't have a little mess left over it's like not having gotten into what you are doing enough. Fun to watch, thanks for your insights Peter, they are always enjoyable.
