I really enjoyed this video. I've been detailing for 13 years. Worked at customer base shops and dealerships. While I had customers of my own on the side. Detailing is a passion. I enjoy doing it everyday. And watching this video reminded me of how much work is put into restoring vehicles to their natural beauty. I don't know about you. But the thing that keeps me going is the customer's face When they pick up their vehicle.

Hi Phil and Jess, I only use the Miranda method of car detailing. Two of my cars rarely leave the garage and only need a light detailing. My second and third favorite cars which are never driven in the rain, also require light detailing. My daily driver gets a wash and wax every week. In general, one of my cars are detailed once a week. Thank you,

7:12 Im detailing in Southern California and traffic film is almost non existent in the LA area since it is bone dry here 🤣, so what I do is use KCX Super Foam as a prewash, let it dwell for a minute, rinse, foam again, and contact wash. The vehicles I get usually have fresh light to moderate grime and are protected, so I almost never have to use APC to pretreat/prewash the exterior. Your method is completely understandable since I have seen your city loaded with snow ❄Great video Phil! Keep up the work! 💯✨

Now I'm using sonax shampoo for prewash with foam gun (I don't have pressure washer now) and then I use the megs citrus wax shampoo for the contact wash. Works well, y just think I need new towels, and a little blower for some little spaces.

Mr. Miranda this was Grreat video lots of sound and valuable advice and helpful tips. I like lots of foam for my contact wash and I also use APC on the lower rockers and tires. I also wear my Army Jungle Boots that I have polished and used Kiwi wax on to make them water proof to help with the water. I also when it is very cold I will wear my ski boots since they are rubber and insulated. Taking care of yourself while detailing in the elements is important I also bought some Amazon basics gloves that are rubber and insulated and they keep the hands dry, warm and they are worth every penny. I bought this brand of gloves in 2021 and I got 12 pairs for under $15.00 the price has increased but it fluctuates from time to time. Thank you for taking the time to make a video that will help myself and others become better and great detailers.

The Rupes AIO cut better than I expected and the car looks amazing. The paint is clear and crisp and the customer should have been thrilled. The DIY polishing system is awesome to use too. With the trim restorers becoming more affordable I have switched to using a ceramic infused restorer too. Thank you as I always appreciate your videos and advice. My business is new so I am getting a lot of hammered cars and this method of cleaning works very well for me. Some of these door jams and doors would take forever without an apc presoak and using the pressure washer to clean with.

I enjoy you have fun. You don't complicate. You use others products. You give just great service. I do washes different ways. Not set in one way. Depends on sun. I'm here in South Carolina. What I do, do on a regular basis is keep wash media free of debris. My recent purchase was grit guard 360 and the bottom stays in bottom. In a clear bucket with side handles. DIY all clean 15:1 does excellent grime removal for me. I'm getting tired of the beating down of the one company by another. You actually wash while others do not and just talk.

Another great video. Always learn something from you two. When using uno advanced do you clean the pad with a pad washer? Or swap pads regularly? I found using it on only ome vehicle, it started to gum up my pad pretty good.

Hi my way of car cleaning is 1 bucket with clean water initially then 1 snow foam applied to dry paint work.then rinse off after seating for few minutes then cover car with smapoo all over then wash off with mitt and dip bucket to clean. After that wash off ,then detail spray all car and then dry car with 3 drying cloth. 😊😊

First I freakin love your videos. You constantly provide amazing and super valuable information so thank you🙌❤️. So currently my pre wash is Koch chemie green star in the big non foaming Ik pump sprayer. I have to work in the sun obviously as I’m mobile. I will wet the vehicle down first then start to spray the apc. The product is still drying almost instantly. I will once I go around the whole vehicle foam it down with shampoo so I can let it dwell longer and not dry out… I know you guys use the foaming ik sprayer and my question is if I switch to the foaming one will I loose cleaning power? My whole idea about this is if I switch to the foam pump sprayer I can gain an additional 30 seconds-1 minute of time while I’m spraying the vehicle with the apc and so that it won’t dry out before I can grab the foam cannon and spray shampoo over it. Ive never used the foaming pump sprayer so idk if it weakens the strength of the product due to it foaming up. Because my pre wash is amazing and it cuts through so much stuff I just struggle with it drying out too quickly so I’m trying to buy more time to work with!!!! I know that was kind of confusing to read but I hope it makes sense. Thank you so much:)
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 2 месяца назад
Hi. So we used to use a regular pump sprayer and it did work great but like you said it would dry out fast. The foaming doesn’t weaken it, I would dilute 1:10 or even more so that it last a thin foam and not a thick foam. That way it dwells for a long time without being too thick. Or if you want to just use a separate foam cannon to use an apc rinse then rinse off, then re foam with your usual soap and wash.

Hey folks! Phil I picked up the IK foamer you use for pre-rinse. Do you have to empty out tank every time and rinse it out? Directions say you should to clean it, and preserve the seals. I'm a rule breaker (lol) so was wondering if it's necessary to do that if you're using it again for the same purpose. Seems repetitive. How often you changing the little foam filter thing-ma-bob? Hi wife!
