Agreed. All eskaters should learn and use a regular skateboard/longboard. These are some fundamentals you don't see a lot of eskaters knowing. Not to diss the sport but just saying
@@snoozlewoozle Also he wasn’t wearing knee pads or elbow pads, even though those aren’t protecting his shoulder it could’ve given him more of a chance to not mess up his shoulder because he could maneuver a bit differently knowing that he had those areas protected.
Bro I have done the same exact thing on my electric skateboard-(while going 20mph) and there is nothing you could possibly do at that moment EVEN IF YOU BREAK THERE IS A SMALL POSSIBILITY OF MAINTAINING UOUR BALANCE . People say that the reason why the guy fell was because his knees were not bent but that is just optional even if his knees were to be bent he still would have fallen…. Whenever you are going to race someone on electric scateboard s pls just tighten your trucks….
I love how he threw all of his stuff and ran back to help his friend with no thought he just ran to help his friend. If this happened to me my friends would just laugh
That, my fellow followers, that is called a speed wobble, a speed wobble is when you are skating at high speeds and start to wobble and lose control of your board, a key way to prevent and or regain control and not injure yourself is to have your knees bent, having your knees bent makes it easier to balance when moving at high speeds and regain control without flying, which was clearly not executed. But kudos to his friend who stoped and threw his skateboard to run and check on him.
Unfortunately for a lot of long time skateboarders it really makes us sad to see people having never ridden a board hopping on an e board going 30+... Not neccessary and they should learn to ride a normal board first.
Same here was getting chase by 2 big dogs it nose dive hit the floor dog got scared and took off running ever since dont run from dogs nomore lesson learned
as a downhill longboarder where we go all the way up to 91mph (world record) but comfortably go 40-60 and slide to stop this was the worst way you could take the bail, gotta practive falling. nextime you get wobbles put all your wait on the front truck and get lower. wobbles come from the back
Awwww yes. Grade 5 ac separation. I’m currently sitting here with the same. Got a plate put in my shoulder about 2 weeks ago to correct it and still hurting bad. Not fun. Mine was from a dirt bike accident. Hopefully you recovered good.
To everyone saying just bend ur knees. That not the only thing being wrong here. He defo was not using the right buckings in the back truck of the board ( not tightend enough). Also the hurricane is known for getting terrible death wobble. I had dwobble on my meepo v3. After putting red buckings in and tightening well, it worked like a charm and had no more trouble after.
well at least you now know to bend your knees. I've done a lot of hill bombing as a teen and you need to know what you are doing. get well feller and ride safe!
Damn dude! Hope you get better i personally broke my ankle 2 weeks ago cruising and it hurt i could only imagine how much it would suck not being able to use your arms!
Slide gloves and knee pads save me every time. I fell off at 30mph on a longboard 2 days ago when a deer ran across the road. The equipment lets you slide safely, nbd, just slid out, got up and hit the hill again. Hope your recovery is quick 🤘🙇🤙
me and my buddie were downhill longboarding with no protection when we were teenagers. probably going 45mph+ he started to wobble like your friend, and when he wiped out he did like a front flip and landed on his head. he spun around. looked like a deer just got hit. i flew past him and then i started to wobble. so i just bailed and walked away with gnarley road rash. my buddie tho had 3 hair line fractures in his skull, a broken collar bone, and was bleeding out his ear for 3 days and the doctors didn't know why. thankfully he recovered. if you're gonna go real fast on a board wear close toed shoes, pants with and under layer, shirt, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and gloves/wrist guards. unless you are just cruising.
One of the most common fractures I've broken my clavicle twice once BMXing and another half way through the healing process but it'll be good after a couple of months just suck and hope you got better
I hope he’s okay! he needs to bend his knees because that’s what’s going to happen if you don’t! If you look at his formation he’s standing straight up!
Same exact thing happened to me lucky for me I landed in the grass but had a t-shirt, shorts, and my bag on I got a mini concussion with two scraped shoulders one scraped knee and a ripped bag. I'm ok now but I was lucky 🙏
