On the morning of Thursday, March 16, 2023 at approximately 8:30 AM, a service disruption occurred on the Green Line of the Montreal Metro between Lionel-Groulx and Berri-UQAM metro stations.
The reason was some kind of incident at the Guy Concordia metro station.
Since I take the metro at this time of day during morning rush hour, I was able to catch some of the action on video.
Here you can see the metro approaching Lionel-Groulx metro station on the green line as well as passengers getting off, before the train goes back into the tunnel. Once in the tunnel, the train would return back to the opposite platform going to the Angrignon direction 🟢
As of 10:05 AM Eastern, service is gradually resuming on the Green Line again.
