Fixed the target API policy violation "Update your target API level by August 31, 2024 to release updates to your app" in google play console.
We've detected that your app is targeting an old version of Android.
From August 31, 2024, if your target API level is not within 1 year of the latest Android release, you won't be able to update your app.

Ma'am i already solved the all tracks and still my warning appeared as it is and also there is no bundle shown on view bundles option inside policy status.

Warning will be there till the review gets over by google. please wait. Or check the mails or play console inbox for any messages regarding the app status.

Please check the "View app bundles" option and verify whether you have updated all the releases(internal, closed, open and production releases) mentioned in the list. if yes, then wait for google's review. The warning disappears once they are reviewed and published.

Very Informative. Small request if possible. Can you please create some video to cover SDK 34 behavior changes to cover foreground services [specialUse, systemExempted]. It will help developers who are using foreground services which are not covered in predefined foreground service types. Cover the code changes and playstore changes if any are required. I heard we need to upload video of app features if using specialUse for foreground services. Thanks!

hello mam i have problem - i want to send push notifications to users to use the app on daily basis but right now i have to send those notifications manually by copying their fcm token and sending through firebase, is there a way to automate the fcm token adding and sending periodic notifications ? please make vedio on that if possible.

Hi Rekha ji, I am a Unity game developer. Recently i updated my game to anroid 14 after internal test and prelaunch report has no issues. But still, my game update rejected due to Brokenappfunctionality Policy : icon or buttons are not responsive or do not returned the content. But i checked many times my game worked fine in my device and some emulators. They don't even provide any Screenshot or Video to find the issue. Could u please help me..

Have you tested on android 14 devices? Your app might contains the features which have behaviour changes to support android 14 devices. Create android 14 virtual device and test on emulator. Check if you are using any apis from this list developer.android.com/about/versions/14/behavior-changes-14

@@irekhatechsolutions Thank You so much for the Response. In my case the i had a watch ad button and ads are not loaded. and i haven't implemented a 'Ad Unavailable' Popup, Its fixed now. Use AGP Upgrade assistant from tools in android studio. It will suggest compatible gradle and plugin versions.

Yes. You can request for time extension. Go to Policy status page. On the page bottom, click on "Request additional time ".

It depends on the app features. If the app is using apis which might have behaviour changes while targeting android 14, then your developer should modify your app to support these behaviors properly which may involve coding, debugging and testing again. So first check these android 14 behaviour changes before concluding developer.android.com/about/versions/14/behavior-changes-14

Check your inbox messages in play console or the mails in your google account. You would have received a mail/message on the reason for termination. @@zionbuilding Go to the Policy status page, click on 'View app bundles'. You need to re upload the builds with the latest target api for all the mentioned app bundles.
