I have been tried so many times because like you I am such a naturally nice person. Their behavior once I spoke up and put boundaries in place has been something out of a bad movie script. I had to learn that not everyone deserves my niceness. I too had to learn the hard way. I am working on how to trust people again and this is trusting my intuition and discernment more.
