So they only know how to give us new sets when they want our money for their stupid little toy line. This game used to be nice but now it’s a money greedy pay to play piece of garbage that doesn’t like masculine body types. It’s not even an accessible dress up game anymore it’s one big add for their stupid toys. Edit: Also it’s actually foul to make the element sets part of this, the magic elements are a big part of campus three and what story mode revolves around and I feel like it should be something in the shop for diamonds not whatever the hell this is.
Same bruh, I’ve only been playing for 4 years but I used to grind my ass off for a halo, and now that I have a high tier halo I don’t even play the dang game because of how boring and dead it is

That's a lot of money to spend on a roblox game. I understand games that ask for a few robux to be played but Royale High has some very high prices for gamepasses and diamonds already. I bet many players have actually spent THOUSANDS of dollars in total on a game that sells itself as a free game (big lie because playing royale high without having farmed for 4 hours a day or spent tons of dollars on the game makes no sense since the game is boring)
I havent played royale high since last summer, and i dont plan on coming back after seeing this. Such a good game, turned into nothing but a moneygrab, not a passion project, like barbie says.
IMO!! The new rh update is honestly a joke… Theres so many new sets which shows yhat they do work on them but choose not to, and instead pf making them cost diamonds pr even robux, they choose to make these sets for REAL money? Also from what Ive heard people in other countries other than USA/Canada are not able to even get these dolls pre-order, and lets not talk aboyt the company. Also, the new vampress set is so pretty, I wish we will be able to trade for these lol

The point that my daughter really wants these just for a game is crazy… and the sub total is ISANE (167.00) it’s crazy that these dolls are pretty expensive and my daughter doesn’t know it supports a horrible cause which is kinda my fault for not telling her sooner, at this point I feel like this game she is playing is just a play to win game first The robux Outfit (the supporting the cancer thing) this .. all cost real life currency just to buy robux to get a dress and to just buy a 3 inch doll with money to get a accessories .. at this point I just think “role play” isn’t the word for this game anymore..
I grew up with it. It used to be a fun roleplay game 6 years ago. When i was in high school, it was fun. Now its prettier but its not as fun. Nothing to do. Just a cash grab, which is a shame
You know, what I've been trying to say for YEARS about this game is exactly what you're going through. I personally don't know about your economical situation, but I've always known that we would get to the point where kids would start begging to their parents so they buy them the new royale high items. Some parents struggle financially and now they have to face their children spending 50-300$ on a game that is supposed to be FREE. It's okay for games to be pay to play, some devs work really hard, but they'll usually ask for 25-50 ROBUX and sure, you can get gamepasses but not having them won't make you enjoy the game any less. I don't know how much money kids are spending here. That cancer thing set, all the money kids want to accumulate to buy these dumb halos and now these +300$ items? It's just crazy.
Why they making us pay money for a set or 2 if we aren't even gonna use the dolls other than the code They're basically making us destroy the environment and making us waste plastic. It's just plain stupid and bad. Royal high is doomed.

I've been playing since 2017, After 2019, this game stopped being an RP and hangout place and turned into a pay to win thing, Most of my hopes went away when they released the GOT set and it cost robux with the excuse that it was to help children with cancer, but most of the money went into the company's pocket. It's clearer than diamond how they are neglecting their fans and destroying from the inside out a world that required a lot of work and passion to build; Unless they rethink the strategies they are taking and put more competent people in leadership, this empire is doomed to fall and no one will come forward to rescue them when that happens.

They release god knows how many new sets, which by the way is MUCH MORE than the amount we have gotten in the past few years (the amount: NONE) and before you say “they’re releasing real life and royale high items!!” Like no. Do you know how much happier most of us would have been if they had just made those sets worth diamonds??? They can release the toys if they want, but making the catch be the fact that you have to buy a toy to get it just fucking sucks. Give yourself a few years until you understand. Tbh royal high is not gonna make it, like, you dont update, we dont get sets for months, but all of a sudden we get them but its 50 dolls.... Dress to impress atleast dosent do that.. rip royal high
This is why so many players are moving to DTI. We get consistent updates and you don't need to buy VIP to have a shot at winning. In fact, I've seen some VIP players complaining about how they don't have enough stuff!!
I literally just hit level 1800. I have been faithfully playing this game since 2018 collecting sets and grinding even rp-ing during middle school. And this past year has just felt like a kick in the face from Royal high.

For me, it took me about about 4-5 months to get 3mil. diamonds by Farming. I'm one of these people who isn't very good at trading so I need to use that form of getting diamonds and honestly it's so disappointing that Royale high is digging it over grave by doing this all.😢
It’s the most disappointing update more disappointing than the last update ngl but in my opinion they should’ve been like half season and half permanent sets IF THEY WELL LISTEN TO COMMUNITY For example: the prom queen dress could be permanent The wicked vampress could be for Halloween u know?

I feel sad, the items are soo beautiful and there are soo many great toggles but the amount i must pay for these items? i love the items so so much but it makes me sad how i have to pay soo much, i dont have that kind of money like these developers do. I feel soo sad because i dont believe its worth it to spend soo much for pixels on a screen beautiful or not i love it but its just too expensive, all i wanna do is dress up 😭
royale high used to be fun. I loved roleplaying and loved the events in 2017. It had nothing to do with farming and we were just playing. Now its all about expensive stuff, farming, blablabla nobody is interacting like how we used to

This is even worse when you know that at first they were asking money for a good cause. But now it just feels like: “You don’t want to see your favorite game die? Then you give us your money.” Plus, the toys aren’t pretty, they look very childish as if they try to attract the kids attention and not the older fandom because personally I will buy it for the code not the toy.

What i wish they did is make quests for the sets and you can buy the toys if you want the code fast because the quest would have a code:3 i wish it sucks because the stuff is absolutely gorgeous ❤ but i don't wanna get the toys-

I love this game I have been playing it since 2020, when people were really mad at royale high a couple of months ago I knew about the drama but I looked past it and decided to keep playing the game. I thought they would fix some of the problems but many of them remain unfixed. When I saw the new sets come out I couldn’t believe it they could have spent their time fixing the cherry blossom set or adding more masc toggles. Instead they are ignoring the problems and just want our money, they only care about money they could have made it cost dims but they didn’t instead they decided to work on these sets and I don’t feel like paying like $150 for these sets.
Okay... This can be a good idea, but comon- The old players of Royale High are mostly teens-adults right now. What are they going to do with the toys??!! (Except stacking them up on the shelves as display). I haven’t played Royal high for months. After I realized what the game became I started branching out to different types of games. I started playing mm2, dress to impress, and more! Royal high is what made me stop playing adopt me because I got way ti distracted farming for sets etc, now I have recently been going back to adopt me to build some houses because I also love to build in Roblox!

The fact that royal high only cares abt money and only tries for it is said. Having to pay $300 for sets is outrageous. Some people don’t have to e money to pay for that stuff… I haven’t been playing royal high since Christmas. Royal high has turned into a complete nightmare. I'm so dissapointed in Barbie, as someone who is a collector of sets I'm devastated that we have to pay out of pocket in order to get these sets, and because of massive inflation due mostly to exploitation of the diamond currency, trying to trade to get the items is gonna be a nightmare. I don't wanna quit the game because I have a small ounce of hope the devs will come to their senses but I honestly don't even know anymore. I get the feeling Barbie is trying to branch out of the whole gaming community and do something else.
this is just depressing crowned court set could’ve been used for February Nurturing nymph set could’ve been used for May wicked vampire set could’ve been used for October the fairy dresses could’ve been given to people with those elements sugar dough set could’ve been used for November and December stardust designer set could’ve been used for march Cozy coquette skirt and bodice could’ve been used as an item in the Christmas shop Valkyrie dress isn’t that pretty, should just be a set that’s given to developers or just make it cost diamonds and not be limited. It’s really honestly a shame that ROBLOX is partnered up with this toy company. I bet that if royale high was able to have a choice on who to partner up with for the toys, this whole thing could have been so much better. Also, it’s sad that the sets are honestly super nice, but basically inaccessible
I miss the old days of royale high back when sets didn’t cost 100s of pounds or millions of diamonds when they only costed around 80k diamonds for the whole set and back when royale high started to do more male stuff I’m sad they do very little male stuff now
we are lucky to get a new set in a year..to then release so many new ones w more detail than 90% of existing sets is diabolical js for the sole purpose of gaining money. Especially since the game is already dying off you'd think they would try harder to keep the fanbase. Most of its players are js kids who want to have fun dressing up.. its so sad to see a game ruin its popularity so bad that most ppl have to quit

I love the dolls! Their so cute, but if you guys don't want to spend money then don't! Other people will buy it and what really sucks is some people are so obsessed with the new sets that people are willing to steal codes out of the toys and It's sad for people who actually buy the toy. I don't support the company, but I don't support royale high and they have nothing to do with the company that supports killing! Roblox is the one who they make a contract with!
Im a little late but i fell like the sets that represent each element at least shouldve been something you earn after being able to get a new element+ when a new player joins and chooses their first element, they get a nice set to start with
They did it because no one buys diamonds anymore I think and their probably loosing money from it I also bought three of the toys it was kind of pricey for my favorite pieces which is a the baking set and school. Nice vid btw❤❤❤❤
I feel like rh should make it so if you get to a certain level or get that number of levels since the toh released they should send you one, it keeps the players happy and gets more people to play their game!
honestly this was my final straw. I was finally starting to love rh again until this, the items are cute, yes! but seriously.. only put in effort for money? What about the halloween update, winter update, val update, etc. this is absolutely outrageous
From the future: People have been going into shops and taking the code off the packaging or wherever they put it so it’s not worth buying them anyways because you’re not even guaranteed the items anymore
Locking the new set items behind a paywall like this is a little ridiculous and maybe a little unfair to people who might not be able to get the toys in time or if at all... I'm really surprised toys were produced in the first place considering the HUGE decline of players. Kinda the nail in the coffin for me on this one :C I'm super sad to see them finally deliver so many requested things just to yeah, have to pay 248$+ for it..
Also to clear some misinfo I've seen going around about RH & their partnership with Jazwares. :) Jazwares technically aren't doing much with Roblox anymore so the developers, creators, etc of the game have to directly work with Jazwares to make toys which is why Royale High has a master toy licensing agreement with them, I feel like people shift the blame onto Roblox way too much in an attempt to defend barbie. Jazwares has recently signed licensing deals with several independent creators on Roblox as part of its DevSeries gaming brand, which launched earlier in April I did some more research into the Roblox aspect and read that apparently the production for the Roblox toys had finished during early 2023 in which their contract together expired on June 30th, 2023, which means they no longer make Roblox based toys but they did begin working independently with DevSeries (MM2, Brookhaven, Arsenal, etc) plus Adopt Me and now Royale High. Which means Royale High signed a contract with Jazwares recently on their own accord, it's just upsetting all around.
