PSA from Turks & Caicos: Willie D, a public figure, has warned Americans traveling to Turks and Caicos to adhere strictly to local laws, particularly regarding the possession of firearms and ammunition. Recently, several Americans have faced severe legal consequences, including the possibility of lengthy prison sentences, for carrying ammunition into the islands, even if unintentionally. The Turks and Caicos authorities strictly enforce these laws, and travelers are advised to thoroughly check their luggage to avoid inadvertently bringing prohibited items​. When asked if he had any final advice to Americans who have a penchant for being self-entitled Willie D fired off with lyrics from one of his hit songs, "Don't say I didn't warn ya!"

You are right Willie D. I was there April 29 with the Tom Joyner Cruise. We had a great few hours there. Whenever you go to other countries respect all laws.
