I love this so much! I agree about watching the movies this time of year. I always watch the first movie while I decorate my Christmas tree. The first movie feels like the magic of Christmas to me, but all the others give me fall/Halloween magic vibes
Bravo! Not only does it look beautiful, it bridges the back to school vibe with the Autumn I need to make happen with all my soul by this time of the year! Love the first HP movie for its seasons, and the permission to lean into dark academia! Your packages are perfect! I’ve taken some screen shots to try to recreate them myself, but I’d love any tips you could pass on. Owls are my favorites, so I have those, and I love the dark metal, tarnished silver?, piece with feathers! Looks like a supply an owlery would produce! Candles will definitely add a gorgeous touch, so please show that when you feel you’ve finished. First time viewer! Thank you for the inspiration! Brit
@@britaccent4352 Thank you so much for your kind words!! My biggest tip for the packages is to just use random boxes you get from the mail or food boxes and even the little ones from dollar tree! Also grab a roll of brown Kraft paper from the dollar tree to use to wrap those packages! All about sticking to a budget here!
@@magicmyth2635 Thank you! The witch hat is from Kirkland’s and the spider was from Homegoods! The letters was a lot of trial and error! I got brown envelopes (you can find them in the scrapbook section at Walmart or any craft store) and I looked at a bunch of different screenshot from the movies of letters and tried my best to copy the handwriting! I found the stamps on Etsy! Just search Harry Potter owl stamps and then I got these special wax sticks that fit inside a standard hot glue gun, poured some wax on the envelope and used a wax seal stamp for the Hogwarts wax seal (from Amazon). Hope that helps!
