Ukraine respects China, its territorial integrity, and sovereignty. Our country would like the same in return. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference following the Peace Summit in Switzerland. As the head of state emphasized, Ukraine has never said that China is an enemy. Zelensky also added that China is a very serious country with political and economic influence on Russia.
As a reminder, the first Global Peace Summit, initiated by Ukraine, took place on June 15-16 in Bürgenstock, Switzerland. Delegations from 92 countries and 8 international organizations participated. The summit aimed to agree on three of the ten points of Ukraine's "peace formula" at the highest level - concerning nuclear and food security, and the release of Ukrainian prisoners and deported persons, including children.
