Robbie Coltrane is another who will be widely missed. The burley Scottish actor and comedian had played a number of interesting roles in both TV and Cinema. He also presented his own travelogue where he traveled along the B-roads of Britain. Coltrane, although university educated and classically trained was always a huge supporter of the UK Labour party.
Alan Rickman was indeed a fantastic actor. Well known for playing Hans Gruber in Die Hard, and his part in Love Actually among his great many film credits. RIP Alan Rickman.
Helen McCrory is without doubt another huge miss to UK cinema audiences. Also known for portraying Cherie Blair in The Queen as well as appearing in Skyfall and Woman in Black 2 among her many other film credits. RIP Helen McCrory.
Damn are these movies cursed or what. Richard Harris will always be my favourite dumbledore he was just so sweet, thoughtful, kind, and considerate. Still makes me angry that Rik Mayall's scenes weren't featured.😢 He was such a talented hilarious actor and deserved recognition!
Alan Rickman was a great actor. Did you catch him in a very great movie " Something the Lord made" The supporting cast was also great in that movie. His Assistant I know, but don't know his name but did a great job of it. Back to Harry. Thank You for this video.
It's rather sad when you hear about people who were meant to be part of an adventure only to have their scenes get cut entirely not even shown as a deleted scene on the dvd extras. Then only a short time after you hear about it they pass away. I rekon Rik Mayall would have been great to see on-screen as the mischievous poltergiest Peeves. JK Rowling wrote stuff for him that I believe should have been included in certain films. But when the run time was going to be longer than they wanted they said nope cut the Peeves scenes altogether.
Loved Robbie Coltrane, he was great in a couple of Bond films as well. He later in life was huge, last I saw a interview with him he looked easily around 350lbs

I was just sitting in the quasi-library of the university (not a real library, because you can be loud there and there aren't many books) and I was chatting with friends on Facebook on the laptop, when someone behind me told me the news that a Harry Potter actor had died. We all immediately looked for him, and then it turned out that Robert's younger brother was involved in a fight in a pub, and he went to stop the attacker who pulled a knife, he tried to defend himself, but with little success, and later died of his injuries.

I am so, so sad for Warwick Davis' wife passing. They always looked a very strong couple to me, supporting each other through life. The whole Davis family played in several films together and they departing from their wife and mother is a hard blow. Behind a main actor and celeb there are oftentimes families who support each other. Without them they actors couldn't be playing their roles.
@Twee13: The Book does infer that the Bloody Baron committed suicide after he killed Rowena Ravenclaw [ the Grey Lady ghost of Ravenclaw House and Tower ] because he was in love with her and she spurned his advances, out of remorse he killed himself, her blood still stains his clothes.
60 yrs old and never watched a single harry potter film, wife is a big fan though lol. I know all these actors that died as I grew up watching a lot of them, its so sad when figures you have seen for so long pass on, like losing a piece of your childhood.
Even though Robbie Coltrane is no longer with us we still have Hagrid and Alan Rickman did such a good job playing Severus snape they are deeply missed

Alan rickman is like Itachi in this film,at first i thought he was an evil person but later find out he was a good person who play two side of the coin but still belive in Harry Potter in the end
Okay this list was not only longer then expected but their were a lot of younger deaths then I expected. Like a lot of the older crew were somewhat expected and it’s honestly surprising that so many of the older ones remain alive and kicking

Well I'm going to miss everyone that has passed but the three that I really miss is Dumbledore and Hagrid and Professor Snape they were the ones I love the best I hope they all rest in peace I will be missed I bet you will always be in our hearts😢😢😢😢❤
@Jarl-yt9bz: Not all were old, Robert Knox was only 18 and some were still in their 50s or just under, Verne Troyer was nearly my age when he died of alcohol poisoning he suffered from a genetic condition called Cartilage-Hair Hypoplasia which made him only 2ft 8 inches tall! I can understand why he would be an unhappy person being that height. People with stunted growth conditions rarely live very long anyway as you can see with Warwick Davis' wife, Samantha.
