I installed this game yesterday, so much stuff to do and so many things to learn, a video where you explain which card counters what would be so helpful!
I know that it makes sense to do a video like this but before that I have other videos to do.I know that everything can be overwhelming but trust me in a few weeks you will already know most things about the game :)
I started with a spam deck, probably because I know how useful they can be from years of Magic The Gathering. In this, I find that spam decks can work well though out the lower ranks maybe up some past silver. Then you have to make modifications more often because people know how to deal with spam decks. Mainly do to lack of diversity of cards tbh. The biggest thing is timing. Generally bait out their aoe spell like incendio and then unleash the army. Bombbox and Thunderbird can be very useful to have in such decks. Though make sure to have incendio yourself to stop their def when they spawn it to match yours.
Thanks for the video! I used your previous Newt deck as a brain dead way to grind through to diamond. But now that I'm not fighting bots anymore, I've built a lot of bad habits in actually using the deck. So this was a great refresher :)
I understand that playing against bots is totally different and we get used to bad habits, I did the same trust me. So once you‘re out of most bot games you should definitely adapt your playstyle 😊
@@123davenman Well I mainly grinded in duo, since I found it easier to just brain dead spam there. My best guess is that there would be more bots there since I just assume it's the less popular game mode. Whenever I see a player with a generic name and no rank shown, I just assume it's a bot. And yeah took me till diamond until I saw someone that was noticeably not a bot. But at least I got that 125 win streak 😂
bro tips and tricks video next. like (10 things u should know) (how to unlock XYZ) (best things to spend gems/coins/etc on) (top 10 spells/summon/other cards ) please make videos like these and also show us every steps. I can make sure that you're gonna become the famous content creator of this game. So its better if you show step by step which is gonna help everyone including kids who don't understand if you just say it. You're doing a great job. Expecting more from you in the future videos 💥 edit: you can also post shorts like (how to change the broom) . Recently I got nimbus 2000 but I didnt equip when I received. But it took me a while to equip it manually. I looked up for videos on YT and didnt find any so I had to search it on google. There are many things like these need to be uploaded by someone for the new players who get lost.
Do you know if there is any type or aspect of magic wand that is good? because i just saw one in the store and it says it increases magic ability plus 30%
Well basically it is just about uprading your cards and echoes so do your daily things every day and get more and more cards so you can upgrade your deck and become stronger and stronger until you have your cards at a max level (but this takes a long time)
Thank you so much for making these awesome decks for us newbies. Can you also do a kind of trial of every legendary card in the future and some of the trickier epic or normal cards?
Yeah that's actually the case since I think a lot of us want to see the different ways the spells can be used in a deck and what can be used as alternative spells for them . Counters to some globally played decks would also really help. Please don't take it as me being rude 🙂.
can someone explain what server is he playing on and why does he mention soft launch players ? as a soft launch and someone who watched his months old vids thinking he is playin asian version im hella confused. thanks for the tips you are helping me out a bunch keep it up. very comfortable to watch
So to be clear the Global Version of the game already came out a few months ago in a few countries, it was not a Beta but a Soft Launch (This is the term when a game just gets released in a few countries) and now the soft launch servers are just closed and we can not play with/against people from the normal new servers even tho a lot of them are already higher than us. So right now we sometimes need over 600 seconds to find a game and that's why a lot of people gave up on Duels this season :(
Hey, I have a question regarding the ruby keys. I got Ron kinda early. Is it worth to invest the Rubi keys into Ron anymore or should I safe for next season. I just recently started and Iam a bit lost. I also own the dragon from the season thing
@@gerbster14 Yeah you can just get them by trading in Gems I guess. I don’t really mind skins to much so I just like to get the good cards. But I choose the dragon as starting legendary so I don’t bother to much. I would love to have a Ressource video tho
Since you already got Ron it‘s better to safe up the keys for future cards because there are still a lot of good cards coming in the future and as long as you don‘t want or need the skin you can avoid using more Red Keys on him😊
Question, when you spawn the 1MP creature card with Newt's ability, does the spawned card level follow YOUR card level or is it just a Level 1 creature card?
right now there are not a lot of decks that benefit from phoenix but one echo that is kinda nice with phoenix is Harry, just watch my ''Best F2P Deck'' with Harry and just swap a card for your phoenix :)
Yes, send it through a private message to a friend or so and you should be able to see it if I‘m not wrong, otherwise it‘s usually not possible to see them when you had the Duel on another device :/
@@WizardGreene sorry, I guess I constracred my question in a wrong way. I meant if it's possible to play the PC game version and have all the progress I've got in a mobile version? is it possible to use the same account for mobile and PC version?
Just some feedback on my end , I prefer to watch your battles live because it shows me how to play in a way. The prerecords doesn’t help new people trying to learn how to duel.
I understand what you mean but with the prerecord it helps me to focus better on the commentary, sometimes when I'm playing the duels live I am so focused that I can not clearly say what I'm doing or why but for that I have my regular livestreams on my channel, also tonight I will do a livestream so if that's more your thing feel free to have an eye on my channel to see when I'm live :) (should be in about 1 hour or so)

oh wow congratz that is really lucky, it can be difficult to build a deck in the beginning but just watch some of my recent videos so you may get an idea of some decks, besides of that I will upload a video in the future on how to correctly build a deck :)
I need help, my friends are on different servers and because of it i cant add them or play with them, and if i change servers i have to restart the whole game and lose my progress. How do i get around this?
So to be honest I don't remember correctly about each solo forest level or how you get some specific echoes but once you beat Lvl 25 of solo forest you can get legendary echoes from the car. They are obviously super rare but from time to time you will get some legendary echoes :)
you can basically just use this one for duo but you partner needs a deck that matches yours, if you play spam it would be nice if your partner plays a spell deck
I think epic echoes can go up to lvl 13 and legendary echoes to 16 but the levels you unlock new cards are lvl 4,7,10,13 or 14 and 16 at least on legendary echoes and as far as I remember the epic ones should be +- the same

Not horrible, but levelling the cards to the level he’s got them will either take a shitload of time or money, pulling an opaleye or even trading for it that many times is crazy in the timeframe it’s been out for
if you mean forest with pve I would say no, sure spam can maybe win you some early stages in the runs but spells are the main way to go in forest and for story it always depends, every chapter / level needs a different deck

Yes so basically you should play the egg either with a Neville or Hagrid echo because then you can heal up the egg faster, but a Neville Deck video will be coming in the future 😊

I already told the team my concerns about the situation and posted a screenshot of my 2600 waiting time today with a long text, I am also not super happy with the Duels situation trust me
The game is legit incredible but spam-strats are just too broken rn, ranked mode is not in a great shape tbh... The best counter to this deck is crossing your fingers and hoping they don't get good hands. Very unbalanced. Cassandra? They focus her with spells while the army approaches, especially with Statues in the mix it's too easy to out-momentum the opponent all game long. Ron? Sure, it's the best thing you have to gain your momentum back but It's not like you have 5 of those. Also the girl that casts Evanesco hard-counters both him and Cassandra.
Fwoopers, Opaleye, Confringo, Sectumsempra, Cassandra or counter it yourself with a spam deck. I know how it feels and when I started to play the game I also thought wow how is it possible to win against spam? But believe me you will notice that there are enough counters :)
@@WizardGreene Talking with other members of the community it turned out my spells are simply underlevelled compared to strong summons. I'm using Harry and my spells are around lv5. SO I guess they feel SO overwhelmingly strong due the the sheer stat difference. Wich is good to know, as everyeon can eventually get there. I'll just keep honing my skills while levelling up I guessand eventually I'll get past Gold where I feel hardstuck rn :P
There are a lot of great cards to counter spam like Fwooper, confringo, incedio, opaleye, firecrab and so on, and an echo that is also strong against spam is Snape
@@WizardGreene does 15 lose streak count? 😢 My deck before was pure spells bcz I thought it will be stronger. I wasn't able to cast a spell properly bcz of the enemies summons 😭😭😭😭
flaming snakes ? Ashwinder of Fiendfyre ? Because if you mean Ashwinder he is literally one of the best cards in the Newt Deck, he gets so much value and is super good against spam because of his ability
@@WizardGreene The hard sounds like "Shh" and "K" come off a little harsh, I'm not sure if that is something you can tweak when editing, but its not too bad.
So that everyone who plays such decks will die on fire in front of the entire audience. Why did the developers allow such nonsense into the game?!?!??!
Bro you put lot of effort on showing video thanks but you also spent too much money, these are very high levels, on lower levels they are not tank enough and as you do not have direct controls cards, its going to be lose.
No worries mate I understand what you mean but besides of obviously having put money into the game I also play for already 4 months so it's normal that my cards are higher. I still think this is a great deck but it may needs some adjustments depending on the meta
