Michael's the best drummer for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Actually, he's the longest drummer in the band. Actually 25 years now. I met him a couple times and he gave me drumsticks. after Freebird . He's a really nice guy and very professional

A lot of people forget to mention that Damon Johnson was a member of the Damn Yankees at the very very end. , Matter of fact, they recorded an album that's never been released.

Poor guys is just never gonna be the drummer in Lynerd Skynerd. No matter how bad he wants to be. It’s Bob and Artie. I think Michaels an incredible musician but he’s gonna be that drummer in the cover band.Sad really talented dude. I’d put him up there with Kenny Aronoff.

If they reformed that would be great. In fact they may be one of the few bands that could still play and perform without faking it like so many bands. Example in my opinion would be, eagles, mostly crud, kiss, and the list goes on.

Sí Michael, repasando todos estos años y viendo la música horrible de estás últimas décadas se podría decir que Damn Yankees band y album son una joyas. Los sigo desde 91y yo estaba aún en la secundaria. Mi hija hoy de 19 años los escucha y ama música. Convence a Tommy, Ted y Jack para una tour por todo el mundo..por donde esté allí estoy. Son parte de mi playlist de toda la vida❤❤❤❤❤

Ok. Huge Tommy Shaw and DY fan. I really enjoyed this video… and of course I’d LOVE more DY (though honestly I’d prefer more Shaw-Blades) … but to me the burning question from this interview is: Where can I here these Eddie Jobson Zinc demos? Never knew Michael was into prog!! That’s super cool. Update: ok after googling, it seems the album did get released, but Michael isn’t listed on anything… so I still wonder, do the demos with Michael exist anywhere?

I absoutely love those two albums! Remember buying the first one in 1990 as a 17 year old kid, and it became one of my favourite albums of all time! Just great great stuff!!!

Just reunite already. It’s not like any of their old bands are A list acts these days. I’m sure they could postpone a few night ranger gigs to do it
