I bet this video applies to all scenic roads in NZ, hard to drive without frequent stopping :)

No worries at all mate, Winter in NZ is very predictable, see this article for more info -> nzpocketguide.com/when-is-the-best-time-to-go-backpacking-in-new-zealand/ The first snow starts in June (sometimes earlier in late May) and stops in the end of August (sometimes later in September) Happy to chat more about it in the live show, will you be watching this week? Do you think it’s feasible to drive this road with a RV instead of a camper van? I see you have one but the one I’m looking at looks a little bigger. This one is 7m long and 3m tall, not sure the width. Is that ok to make the driver or should I get a van?

Hey Nathan, driving the Milford Sound road with an RV this tall is feasible, as many travelers use similar-sized motorhomes on this route. However, it's important to be comfortable with driving a larger vehicle on narrow, winding roads. The road to Milford Sound can be challenging, with sharp bends and occasionally steep gradients. If you're unsure about handling a larger RV, a smaller campervan might offer easier maneuverability and less stress on the road. (and less gas!!!)
