Hello folks, have you ever visited or climbed The Trinnacle here in the Peak District? If not I'd highly suggest a visit...but I'm not sure I'd recommend a climb if your legs aren't made for heights! 💩
To get to the Trinnacle, which sits above Dovestone Reservoir (and two other reservoirs), you have a few different route options to get there. I opted for the path that takes you alongside the reservoirs and along the river until you reach the top of the Dovestone edge. And then, this is where you find the gritstone pillars that go by the name 'The Trinnacle' 🤩
Unfortunately I had to turn back half way along this route but I didn't give up and went along an alternative path which led me to the amazing stone formations. As you will see if you watch the video, I once again try and face my fear of heights by climbing upon the tall pillars with sheer drops from every angle! 😳
So please come and join me for a great hike and some spectacular views! 😍
Below is a link to a playlist with various hikes I've done in the past. Be sure to check it out if it's your kind of thing. Peace ✌🏽😎🧡

Theres an awesome scramble up wilderness gully, theres 2 gullies actually, the left hand one is grade 2/3 and is more exciting, but save it for a very dry spell lol. You just head up the service road from dovestones car park to chew reservoir and head down the slope and cross the stream at the base of it.

If you're planning more in the Peak District then the Dragons Back is a must! Chrome Hill and Parkhouse but do it in dry conditions. Tag on High Wheeldon at the start if you're there in time for sunrise 👌 Try the Roaches, hen cloud and luds church too! Still not been up to the trinicle! I try to avoid crowds but it looks lovely and quiet on your footage! Brilliant stuff 👏

Thank you so much for the recommendations! Hopefully I'll get to check them out one day 😁 And yeah I think I hit the Trinnaccle at a lucky time, I'm sure it gets busy sometimes. I hope you get to visit there soon 😁

I've only stood in the middle of it, but my mates have posed on the top of the trinicle, I've got a photo with one mate doing a crab on one, another mate doing a plank on another and a 3rd mate doing the one legged yoga pose on the third (I don't know what the yoga pose is called lol) you wouldn't get me doing that with my vertigo 🤣

Hey, thank you. Yes I was aware of that but I couldn't get across to the other side because the river was so strong. Next time 😁
