Štrbské pleso is a glacial mountain lake and a top tourist destination in the High Tatras, Slovakia. It is the second largest glacial lake in the Slovak part of the High Tatras. The maximum depth is 20 meters.
Here in the High Tatras we find the ski resort of the same name, Strbske Pleso.
The highest settlement in the Tatra Mountains - Štrbské Pleso offers 9 km of easy to challenging ski slopes on the southern slopes of Mount Predné Solisko. Štrbské pleso este un lac de munte glaciar și o destinație turistică de top în Munții Tatra Înalte, Slovacia. Este al doilea lac glaciar ca mărime din partea slovacă a Munților Tatra Înalte. Adâncimea maximă este de 20 de metri.
Aci in muntii din in Muntii Tatra Inalta gasim stațiunea de schi sub acelasi nume, Strbske Pleso.
Cea mai înaltă așezare din Munții Tatra - Štrbské Pleso oferă 9 km de pârtii de schi ușor până la provocatoare pe versanții sudici ai Muntelui Predné Solisko. In Štrbské Pleso (din Muntii Tatra Inalta) puteți face schi și snowboard, schi fond și școli de schi pentru începători. Toate acestea sunt la cele mai înalte standarde de servicii fiind o stațiune liniștită. Štrbské Pleso este cea mai înaltă stațiune de schi din Slovacia, oferind o atmosferă magică datorită istoriei bogate și hotelurilor luxoase.
