Para arreglar filo de tijeras es mejor la botellita pequeña de vidrio . Es lo mejor tratando de cortar el borde de la parte mas delgada varias veces 😅 y me quedan las tijeras super buenas 🙈

I always sharpen my ordinary scissors with the neck of a glass bottle all you need to do is try to cut it over and over about half a dozen times then they work perfectly !

At best cutting aluminum foil will hone or realign an edge. These scissors probably don’t have a decent edge. Plus, the blades may not even be aligned. If they are good quality or have sentimental value they can be restored. Pinking shears are entirely different. Trying to sharpen each individual triangle will probably destroy the shearing action. By the way, check with the manufacturer of the shears to see if you can get a replacement pivot screw assembly before taking it apart. With all that rust I wouldn’t be surprised if the scissors had been dropped or otherwise mishandled. You have to consider your time and cost of ruined fabric plus the cost of restoration.

That may remove some rust but it will not sharpen anything. Think of how you normally do it - there is a reason they are doing it that way. You will just waste your time and foil.

возьмите стальную иглу, и по всей длине лезвия ножниц режьте ее, так лезвия затачиваются.. старый дедовский метод, работает и в век оптоволоконного кабеля))) ножницы проверяют - режут носиком- кончиком.

What a total waste of foil and it certainly doesn't work I'm lucky enough to have a good old fashion cobblers near me and he does a superb job on all my scissors and my expensive pinking shears

Нет пробного разреза ткани ножницами зигзаг, может они и не были тупыми и резали хорошо.

Ох уж эти фокусы ((, ох уж эти фокусники (( не работает это ((( кстати, мы не видели зигзаг ножницы до начала "процедуры". И если резать ткань "лежа на боку", то и хорошие ножницы не всегда справятся. Так что не убедительно получилось
