Honestly, very few historic warriors had such hairstyles. The idea of Vikings with intricate hairstyles is a Holywood thing, they mostly just had regular short hair or just generic long hair. That said, there's no such thing as a "gay hairstyle", if you think a hairstyle would look good on you, go for it. There's nothing less "manly" than men who are scared of what people will think of their damn hairstyle.

I'm glad I found this video, I only knew about the bun and two cornrows ended with a little bun each one (and usually style my hair by parting it in the middle or one side), my hair is the same length as yours so now I'll be able to create more looks ☆ (sorry if something's wrong, English is not my first language)

My fiance' came to me tonight saying he wanted a hair cut, like a REAL hairstyle, not just a cut because his hair grows really long. His birthday is next Tuesday and he said he'd get ANY style I wanted him to have that would Obviously make him look nice for his birthday! My 6 year old has this hairstyle and it comes down to his shoulder now :-) I'm trying to learn how to French braid so that we can put it up for him and help keep it out of his face. When we first shave up the sides, his long hair sticks to it like velcro haha. It makes it hard to keep nice looking when it's down. He loves his hair though, and i wont cut it until he asks me to. I feel like I'm the only mom in the world that doesn't know how to french braid :P

Tomas there is a product wich a)makes your hair grow a bit faster b)makes your hair smoother c)it makes your hairstraighter without having to blow dry just after a wash put your hair in a ponytaio for 30 mins snd its straighter (only use shampoo once or twice a week)
YEEES Maaan! I have been growing my hair in the side out, for about 9 months now and it has been a pure journey. You will get some periods where it will look really bad, but in the end it's totally worth it!

I normally like to put my Hair Growth into a Ponytail. Up into the High /or Low, 1 or the other I'd Tie it that way. And Yet, of course 💇 most definitely avoid 💇 the short Haircuts. 💇
Styles are good except for the undercut part, for me it feels like you almost look like everyone else. But this definitely helps add depth to your standard undercut look

Undercuts a high contender for my hair appointment today, my hairs currently about a foot and a half long and I'm a ginger (auburn). I want to keep the top long if I do and I dont know what height to cut the sides up to. Either way these styles showed me you can a lot of diversity and I'm hoping adapting them to my length if I get an undercut isnt too difficult.

I'm African american.. my hair is naturally, curly, wavy, straight. Im tired of fades, afro,, crop cut. Never tried braids. Think I'll try grow out with under cut. Oh, on the cultural thing, those people who say that most likely won't date a black woman with short, kinky hair. Espically if she ain't light skin.. so ignore that noise..

people saying they are of a culture and don't mind or care about cultural apropriation, probably have no connection or understanding of their own culture.
Because men in the past (like in the last 60 years) were less likely to put their hair in a bun, when the trend of men growing their hair came back, Some women didn't like it and started to call it a man bun as derogatory term. As if you'd say a men's tong. It's unusual and some people, mostly women showed their displeasure by calling it like that.
