CAUTION-1 mil wetsuits are very expandable and can act as a sea anchor as my dive buddy learned today. After scuba diving off a boat in the Caribbean, he stripped down to the waist, legs in only, and jumped back in to “pre-rinse” his wetsuit. BUT a mild surface current filled the legs like a balloon due to the pliability of the 1 mil. and started to pull him under as it had very little buoyancy and also pulled him away from the boat. He grabbed the stern bouy line and was pulled in. But, be aware or this potential danger. ⚠️
