Hey Ryan yeah i really like the scaled look of this model, these would be pretty cool to customise. WPL should have added the metal tracks with this tracked model instead of charging their customers nearly $50US for the option. That disappoints me a bit to see that.
Freakin cool rigs aren’t they! Still got it on my list to pick up hopefully soon! They seem to work quite well as long as debris stays out of the track. Seems easy to place back on. Very cool Dave! Have a great week Brother!
They are pretty cool scaled models, just wished they were better out the box. replacing the rubber tracks every few mins gets old fast (there was few more than the 3 times you saw in this video lol) Cheers for watching Robby 👍
I wanna get one of these and put a Chevy blazer body on it to make the old monster truck tank “Virginia Beach Beast” .. look it up and you’ll see why. Was another one of my favorites as a kid
Yep would look awesome with a truck body on it, in the late 80's think it was 1989, when i was about 9 or 10 there was a Holden HQ Monaro GTS Coupe body on a tank chassis here at Monster truck shows and other exhibitions here in Perth, running over and crushing wrecked cars, was awesome to see
Yes it would and it does in other peoples videos, but the price is a bit pricey just for the tracks, especially the assembled kit. close to $50US on top of the priceof the RC, shouldn't really have to pay extra to make this model perform, WPL should either release it with the metal tracks to start with or add them as an extra accessory in the RTR kit. it's definitely just a money grab from WPL
I'm not going to do a comparision video as i no longer own the SG1203, but i made a comparison video 3 years ago here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LLk0iPX9ZsM.html This WPL E1 is way underpowered compared to the SG1203, so buy the SG1203 any day over this one, this E1 is far inferior quality to the SG model
@@Fonzierc This cost me the equivalent of around 32 GBP in UK and that was the version with 2 batteries. The basic version is under 30 GBP. For a scale realistic RC model with fully-proportional controls, that makes it cheaper than a lot of toy grade RC products. In that respect, I think you get quite a decent product for the price, if you drive it in scale realistic conditions.
