Very clever! It took me much longer than 10 min. Several hours just to figure it out. It's so fun to watch the quick and easy shortcut approach. I used a beautiful fabric I've been saving for at least 40 years. It's done now. Thank you so much for the inspiration!!
Interesting video thanks. I find it easier to sew the waistband on first, leaving a hole on the inside edge, then feed the elastic through afterwards, no need to fight with the crinkled up band trying to sew it onto the skirt afterwards. Liked the cutting system though.
I love this tutorial!! So easy and uncomplicated to follow! Where was this when I was taking Home Ec all those many years ago? It took me almost a whole semester to make one skirt! 😂 I wish I knew then what I just learned in 10 minutes!! Thank you for your video!!
I was the only guy learning to sew in home ec back in the late seventies. It took me about a week to pull out a single thread, and I've still no idea what the purpose of that was.
I was remembering wrap around skirts I used to help assemble in the sewing mill. The wrap around is more forgiving if you gain a few pounds on certain days of the month. I think the wrap around was much easier but this version of a skirt is very interesting. Beautiful.
Absolutely love the simplicity of this skirt. Easy to make and could add a zip and pockets too! I have a similar fabric with parrots on too, I’m going to make one. ❤

J'ai trouvé le même tissu au marché a Antibes 5 euros le mètre il es génial comme tissu c'est du Micra mais faut des aiguilles spécial le vendeur m'a conseillé et sur le marché je les ai trouvé j'ai acheté 3 tissu de coloris différents et hop mes jupes son faites trop contente cordialement 👍👍👍

ОТ = 14 × 8 = 112 см . Вы можете сделать клинья по своему размеру , просто включайте мозги , как и с "лохматыми" швами . Автор канала не стала отнимать время у зрителей на обработку швов .

You can adjust the speed of a YT video by clicking on the gear icon below and to the right, then click on playback speed and slow it down. You can also pause the video as you do each step.
The waist measurement given is tiny and the sewing time will be a lot longer than 10 minutes even for skilled sewers, but it's a nice idea and the waist/elastic size can be adjusted.
