After a fun filled few days by flying on the MD82, it was time to fly back to London, originally I booked with BH air but the operating airline was changed to European air charter.
I never knew that there were A320s flying around that were in excess of 30 years old, especially as the MD82 I flew on the previous day was actually younger than this aircraft at 29 years old.
For such an old A320, you really wouldn't know it was 30+ years old, the only things I noticed was the toilet had a slightly different layout and the taps were different, the FAP in the galley was buttons rather than LCD screen that the crew use now.
That being said, the seats were comfortable, they were still the same ones that the original airline had which was Mexicana, The flight itself was smooth, i enjoyed it, the crew were super friendly, it was also nice that the flight was only about half full so there was room to stretch out.
