My first flight with BA this year. Now I always find BA can be very hit and miss and the crew really make the flight.
Not off the best start as the flight was delayed 1 hour leaving Palma de Mallorca, these things cant be helped especially during the summer when there are lots of air traffic slot restrictions.
Flying with club Europe i could access the VIP lounge within the A gates area in PMI, unfortunately I did not film in here as the lounge was extremely busy. There was however a good selection of drinks, the food was ok, tho it was mostly sandwiches or bagels tho I did enjoy the salmon burgers they had, seating was not the best and it was cramped, I probably wouldn't pay to use the lounge if it wasn't included with my ticket.
However once the aircraft arrived it was turned around fast, and we were soon on board. Now i did find the seat on this flight a bit uncomfortable, I feel like the cushion had worn down so it just felt odd, the legroom is also on the tight side of things, however not too bad for a 2 hour flight, of course the middle seat was blocked off as is standard with Club Europe.
Now I have to say the crew were fantastic on this flight I could not fault them one bit, they were professional and funny at the same time. the service was quick and efficient, the crew were regularly in the cabin asking if we wanted anymore drinks etc.
I really enjoyed the food on this flight too, it was delicious!
The flight overall was smooth albeit running an hour late.
