Flying with Lufthansa again, to catch my connecting flight on the Boeing 747 to PMI.
A few days prior to my flight I was able to bid for an upgrade to business class for the flight. Now I have previously done this with westjet in the past. I thought why not, so I placed a bid for the lowest price you could select. A few days later `i was told that I was unsuccessful, then a day before the flight I received an email saying my upgrade bid had been successful.
I really enjoy flying out of Heathrow T2, I always find that it never gets too busy, there is a good range of shops and Restaurants, it also feels spacious. Security was quick and easy.
I did use the Lufthansa Lounge in T2, because it was an early morning flight, I didn't have much time to sit in there by the time i had got my footage for this youtube video I only had about 10 minutes before boarding started so i didn't get any footage from inside the lounge. however it was really nice, there was a good selection of hot food, cold items such as fruits, bread, croissants, yoghurt, tea coffee juices. plenty of places to sit too.
Today i flew on an A320NEO, oddly tho this NEO didn't have wifi, when I flew out of Gatwick with Lufthansa on the older A320 both flights had wifi. for an hours flight it doesn't matter but just something i noticed.
It was a beautiful day for flying, clear skies all round. The food offered by the crew was really nice, they did offer more bread and croissants and also apples, personally I don't like apples so i didn't take one. Now i know it is a short flight, But I feel ive had more substantial meals on British airways.
However it was a good flight.
