It's so crazy but I think being an "empty nester" opens you up to exploring things you never thought you would. I am loving this season of life. It was very hard at first, but I am so thankful. @DazzleMe77 I really struggled with the empty nest! It was so strange and quiet, even seemed lonely at times. Then I lost my Mom and Dad....geez! God always steps in and leads us gently. I found this Sisterhood of optimistic ladies at the perfect time. Watched quietly from the "weeds" for almost a year. Lol.
