Of course, the best med school eh yung maraming graduates nakakapagsilbi kahit sa mga liblib na lugar, serbisyong may puso para sa mga maralitang kapwa natin Filipino.
Good job to all of you! All medschool have the same goals and med school is super stressful ang daming dapat aralin . Goodluck to all of you & be the best in your chosen career . My eldest daughter is currently a 2nd yr medstudent of DLSHSI and my youngest daughter is studying in DLSU Taft BSBioMed following her ate’s footsteps with future plan to also go to DLSHSI they chose La Salle because they like La Sallian educ system (difficult academically but fun & with good facilities ) La Salle developed them into a confident person and had the best exposure to other students with good family backgrounds 💚
I love UE-RMMC Medicine as one of the top 3 medical schools in the country along with UP & UST awarded by the CHED as the Center of Excellence in Medicine. Good job JV.
Happy for all you kids. Good luck. I'm sure your parents are proud of your accomplishments. Keep up the good work. My son is majoring bio medical engineering @ UCSD in San Diego . We're from bay area in SF.
Haha. Intense! -- remember though that lahat naman tayo are in the same path, ibaba lang sinasakayan natin towards the same destination. Still ---- UP is No. 1.. haha
True! UERMMMC-CM has always been a 2nd choice/option of UP undergrad mostly from UP Diliman, UPLB & UPMla & few frm UP Baguio. And ders nothing wrong w/ it. Stl UERM-CM is one of da top/best skuls in medicine in da country.
balita ko rin destination siya (UE) ng mga taga UP pero marami rin ako kilala na it's their own choice school in medicine kaysa sa UST dami kiyeme kasi Catholic school.
FEU NRMF di ganon ka mahal pero world class ang facilities, bonga ang curiculum at mataray din naman ang performance sa PLE…lgbtq friendly and open to all walks of life basta brainy…hindi kami choosy sa student basta may pangarap maging manggagamot at kaya makipagsabayan sa bugbugan ng utak
From someone who has been able to work with doctors, for me UP is the best school.. (for me lang naman) kasi kakaiba sila mag isip and manage. Usually 10steps ahead compared sa usual.. so we may laugh at the “daga” but still undeniable sila sa clinical
Minsan ang pag pili ng school is kung anong clase ang learning ways mo at somehow ung personality mo.sa student naman yan basta makuha mo licensya mo…plus pili k ng school n may credibility at subok na ng panahon.plus if di man maka 100% po ang school pero 295 out of 300…vs 100% nga pero 30 out of 30 ang doctors na na produce laban sa 295…so doon ka na sa kayang mag produce ng madaming doctors.plus factor din naman ang affordability ng tuition lalo na hirap ng pera ngaun sa mga magulang natin
Hi JV! I really enjoy watching your vlogs. I'm just curious 'cause I read this a lot on online forums. Is it true that in SLMC, clerkship focuses more on paperworks?
Yes! Hihihi. Planning to widen the coverage soon but the think is I don’t know po kasi anyone from there so it’s kinda hard to scout for interviewees. Hehehe! But I appreciate the suggestion.
Hindi nalang nahiya yung iba who can't accept the fact that UP Med is number 1. Parang gusto kung sampalin ang mukha nitong ibang ni interview mo. hahaha.
hi po, napakganda at inspiring po ng mga contents nyo. sana may mainterview/series din po kayo ng mga nag start ng med journey at their late 20's. hoping I can derive inspiration from them. Thank you po. more power to you and your med journey, Doc.
@@JVTomas mcu used to be afable school of medicine and at one point, one of the only 3 med schools in ph. the fact that you've never heard of manila central university before is an indication that it has been left behind in the med education arena. it's in caloocan city (the real one, not the one up north that's geographically detached yet still part of this city. who ever heard of such thing?)
meron bang makakaconfirm kung spoonfeeding talaga sa UST-FMS? and that, although super focused sa theoreticals, medyo lacking daw sa practice (if that makes sense)? hdbsnhddhhd
The choice of school does not and will nt determine ur success as a doctor. Ur goal should always be to serve the people, and if u intend to serve the poor especially in the rural areas, that will be more commendable. That is success i am talking about.
WVSU ,WEST VISAYAS STATE UNIVERSITY located in lapaz,Iloilo is always in top performing school both in medicine and nurses,, Just check the licensure exam in past year ,,tnx..
hi! i watch a lot of your videos po and they are so informative, so thank you so much po :) aside from wanting to vocalize my appreciation po sa inyo, i would also like to ask if you also know something about TUA - SLCN? if by chance, do you recommend it to upcoming freshman students? thank you so much :)
Hi. I’m sorry but I don’t know many people out of the NCR schools. That’s the only reason why I can’t do interviews. Hehehe! But we’re well aware that this video is not comprehensive naman. Hehehe!
I don't agree with all these bunch of people that their school is the best blah blab blah, I think it will depends on the students of course. Schools are there to guide them through out... I have known a lot of good, more knowledgeable and smart Doctors graduated from a not well known schools, but they did an excellent job, better than those known counterparts. hahahaha... Pataasan ng ihi.. Dapat ang magaling at matalinong studyante or doctor ka man dapat you should be HUMBLE lalo na sa mga interviews...
Thank you po for your input. Though I agree na it's not about the school, I think schools do contribute significantly on how the future Doctors will be. And this is also not to say that these are the only good schools in the PH. There are definitely a handful of decent schools that aren't included here, but we can't interview all of them can we?
You can check their individual website. But these schools have limited slots for foreign nationals. you can check on cebu doctors hospital or cebu institute of medicine. Topnotch school as well with cheaper tuition
Bruh it doesn’t just depend on our med graduates, if the government does not support and if the constituents resist medical advise, our health sector will continue to struggle
What kind of thinking is that? Not all Filipinos are med graduates. Also, the government has never prioritized the health care industry in our country. Plus, there are other factors. Saying that "the current health situation in the Philippines is an indicator of the quality of our med graduates" is bs.
Hello, I just saw this. I disagree with this big time. The current health situation in the PH is an indicator of how incompetent our leaders are. HUHUHU. So I encourage you to see this differently. :'(
