Brilliant! I was struggling how to manage this extender option without buying new wireless router, or any new router. I had one router provided by Act and used that to connect my airtel xtreme router. It works seamless with good speed around 40 M's Great Job!

Hello Local Guy! I successfully bridge two routers. My main router is from Airtel Xtreme and I am bridging with Act Router (Not subscribed with Act at the moment) The connection is not sustainable for more than 12 hours. After 12 hours I need to redo the steps as you explained on Repeater. My Router is TP Link Archer C5 Suggest on how to manage this?

Super easy and helpful, thanks for sharing both wired and wireless ways of extending. But just one basic question, will there be a difference in speed by extending the router through ethernet vs wireless? If yes, do you recommend ethernet way?

You should get good range if you keep the extender from main router by 50 meters. I did the same and getting around 40 m's

Did you have to name it Falcon 4 or can you have the same ssid name for both routers so, in theory, you wouldn't have to change wifi channels as you move from one side of the house (main router) to the other side of the house (extender router) for your cell phone?

Thilak Nagarajan after going to this LAN option, I have MAC address- uneditable field, IP address : default IP of router, Subnet mask Mask: Some default options ( along with manual option to enter details), IGMP proxy : Enable. As per your comment i tried changing Subnet mask address as 192.168.0.5 but when system is not accepting saying " bad subnet mask for LAN IP ". Can you please tell me how to proceed further?

Thanks Brother. I have done the same, it is connected and working but it is too slow, some times it is getting disconnected from main router. I have observed that the main router channel is changed and that’s why it wasn’t connecting. I did reset and using now but still it is too slow. Main router speed is 60MBPs and the extended router speed is 3mbps. Kindly help to resolve disconnecting issues and speed issues.

ip address is unique for every device.find ip address of extender router by login in root router and check connected device list. On browser Enter the ip address of extender router.

HI Prince, I have faced the same issue, to fix this login into Router with and navigate to the Network->LAN and enter the IP address as getway IP and change the subnet mask. ex:192.168.1.5.

there is no message when i do setting in tip-link but when i do troubleshooting to my network in my computer or in my browser it told me this message (the dns server isnt responding ) and the wan in the tip-link can not connecting i put it in dynamic ip
