Anybody else completely missing the "choose where to get apps" option?

OMG, everywhere I looked it stated to change from S Mode. Well, I wasn't in S Mode, so frustrated, I turned to RU-vid and found this video immediately. I was into it for about 19 seconds and saw "Choose where to get apps" BINGO, it had switched over (probably after an update) to Microsoft Store ONLY. Thank you, Guru. Knew I should have gone directly to RU-vid the first search.

how do u make the change to where apps download from the Microsoft store goes into a secondary drive instead of local

my windows 11 did not have the option to exit s mode. i had to go to the microsoft store and get there s mode exiter

and you can't disable "s mode" without opening the microsoft app store. I get "you'll need a new app to open this ms-windows-store link." when I try to open store.

Unfortunately, I still can't install the ID app. The icon appears on a fast boot platform but when it is pressed on it, the application is constantly loaded and so on. Does anyone know what the problem is?

It's all about disabling the "S Mode" first, then this option appears, this is important

If it doesn’t work just pick a different setting and then change it again to (anywhere) again . That is what I did to make it work.

I love the fact that you are to the point without wasting time And your information is so accurate Why those morons on Microsoft won’t let us install even basic apps?

For me, i had to go to Privacy & security and then turn on developer mode. I have windows 11. I hope this helps. 😊

This is only possible if you don't have "S" version of operating system and that you can check if you push "Start" and write "winver" and push enter

Thanks a lot. But in updated windows11, there is no option like that. For updated windows 11 pc, Settings >> apps>> advanced settings >> there will be a bar at the top of the page.

This does not work. I have Windows 11 and there are not any of these options in my drop down menu when right-clicking on my microsoft icon or in my settings.

this video is already outdated. the Apps and Features menu does not exist. Windows needs help. I am trying to install Visio, a Microsoft program and it says it is not certified. so dumb.

Finally got windows 11 from ikeyzone I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is. For example 2:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 1:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho
