In this Photoshop tutorial, we will learn about how to lock layers and the different types of locks. Layers are the most important fundamental part of Photoshop. Although they may seem too basic and simple at first glance, they offer unimaginable scope in all sorts of creative processes in Photoshop. Think of Layers as stacks of transparent sheets on top of one another. In this tutorial, we will learn about a few of the functions and options of the Layers Panel.

Thank you for the effort on keep updating the channel. You are a very good instructor with clear explaination, decent English and excellent video editing which not all trainers are good on it. There are many skillful person in Ps around the world, but not so many are good in teaching and willing to teach. Don't stop cz Im sure you'll got many subscribers in the coming years.

I am a beginer can u explain how did you create that example pic. Cause i cant create 2 shapes on same layer and the opacity thingy can u please help....

@Tristian 🟦 watch my Shape Tool Tutorial . Here is the Link - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HbpJAvbs1qo.html Go to time stamp 15:40 on that tutorial. The segment is called Path Operations. It is some 5 mins long. There you can get a clear idea of how to create two shapes in a single layer. 🟦 But another way could be ----- Create an empty Layer. draw a square selection with the rectangular Marquee Tool. Then with the Gradient Tool draw a gradient on that selection. Deselect the Selection(Ctrl+D). For the Right Box use the Marquee Tool again to draw a square box. This time use the Paint Bucket Tool. Set the Opacity in the Option Bar above to 50%. Then just click on the Selection box. Deselect the Selection(Ctrl+D).Done
