I love this message. For anyone else like me who has thought of Matthew 13:58 as an example of how Jesus did less miracles in that town because of the people's unbelief, I'm excited and thankful to have just learned more and realized that Mark 6:5 is another reference of that same event, and Mark included the fact that even though Jesus did not do MANY miracles among those in that town, Jesus STILL DID lay his hands on some who were sick and healed them!!
This was exactly right! We all hinder our witness of faith in Christ through our sinful self-consciousness. It's born out of the sin of pride. May it be quenched in us all so that God's Kingdom may be advanced for the glory of God!!!

We think our ability to sin still labels us as sinners, because we believe that, that is the fruit we produce. Make the tree good and the fruit will be good. We bare bad fruit because the tree is bad. We can't make the fruit good but we can make the tree good then the fruit will be good. Trees thrive and produce good fruit when they are treated with the right fertiliser and taken care of. I was a bad tree in a bad garden that has been transplanted into a good garden by living waters, I must now let the good fertiliser transform me into a good tree. This is done by feeding myself with the word. When the tree is good the fruit will automatically be good. * I thank you that I see people the way you saw me. ive been up less then 1 hour lets make a list of what ive already been told 1i am not healed cause i dont go on and on during a ticing spell telling myself im healed 2I am not healed cause God just says no sometimes 3 i am not healed cause its not Gods time to help me right now I wonder how many more there will be im so sick of the excuses
It's easy, IMO, usually, to pray and be at peace if you are not the one in the suffering... but when you are facing pain and discomfort and you have prayed many times and nothing has happened. What you do? You thank God for help, you praise him for his love, of which you are truly convinced, and pain just persists and it is so present and in your face and impossible to ignore... that's why I struggle with this teaching... I believe Dan is right... but I have no idea how to bring about the will of God in this kind of situation. May God have mercy and lead me out.

@@DanMohlerSR I am reading Colassians every day. It is really mind-blowing. As I read it the words really come alive and recently, I feel that God has spoken to me very directly to address some sin problems that I didn't know how to solve - and it really made a HUGE difference. That said, when facing the post-infection symptoms I have now on a daily basis - and the fear of serious illness - I am sometimes overwhelmed and generally it's very hard for me not to be self centered and care way too much about my health.

I feel like i am doing something wrong. i have prayed and ask Jesus to heal my back many times.And there has been times that the pain went away. only to return short time latter i always thank Jesus for my healing and i believe in the finished work of the cross. so dought tries to invade my thoughts that i must be doing something wrong. Michael Miller Goodmorning Michael, Remember Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hope deferred does make the heart sick but.. Faith is the substance (soild presence)of what we are hoping for..... so if you think about it, when faith is present, our hopes should no longer be deferred because even though what we are hoping for is not yet in physical manifestation, we know that we have it (that healing), in the spiritual realm,in the present. It just needs to manifest itself in the physical. The later part of 1 Peter 2:24 says .....by whose stripes you were healed. As far as Jesus is concerned, you were healed when He went on the cross. Christ has healed us when he took our infirmities. One thing that encourages me is knowing that every good and perfect gift come from God. So when that pain goes away briefly, it is not the enemy giving you relief. It is the work of God. But the devil quickly comes back to steal that good work and then immediately sends the thought your way “oh men, i thought the healing finally manifested, but i guess not” and once you start considering and pondering that thought, the full manifestation is hindered. When the pain leaves, if symptoms ever return, i would encourage you to use the boldness as a “son” and speak to that pain. You dont have to ask God again at that time, since you know that He has given you the healing, but the devil is coming to steal it away. Command the pain to leave your body right there, right now..in the name of Jesus. And what if you command it and it seems like its not leaving right there at the moment, you stand your ground, refuse to be moved by what you see or feel on the physical. Keep telling it, that it cannot stay in your body, that it has to leave, no matter what. And Expect it to leave. Shut down any thought that suggests anything otherwise. A good way to shut down thought is to immediately come against it with thanksgiving to God. When the thought comes suggesting that the healing has not happened yet, just ignore the devil and his suggestions and start thanking God that His word say you are healed and therefore you are healed. Sorry for the long response. But lastly remember in beginning part Heb 12:2 it says Looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith. In situations like that, look to Jesus and ask him for wisdom and to show you where you could be missing it. We know he never fails, so if we are not getting the results he promised in his word we need make some adjustments on our end. But never agree with the thought that you asked him to heal you and he has not healed you yet. As you already know he loves you and wants you completely whole. God bless you -Obi

I had arthritis since I was a teenager. At the age is 49 I began to speak healing over myself. I commanded the spirit of arthritis to get out, and my body to go back to its original DNA design. Nothing happened. The next day, several times a day I repeated the commands, told the swelling to stop, etc. Nothing happened. Nothing happened for several days, but I didn't stop. I continued to command healing.... Before the end is the week NO PAIN!!! I'm 56 years old, a few months ago a twinge of arthritis started up again in one knuckle. For three days I commanded it to go. It did. Pray and don't be tired of praying. Colossians 4:2-4 Put on the full armor of God and stand, and when you've done all to stand... Stand! Ephesians 6:13
