✠ - Preußens Gloria - ✠ (piano transcription) 

This march was written in 1871 by Johann Gottfried Piefke (9. September 1815 in Schwerin an der Warthe - 25. Januar 1884 in Frankfurt) circa the proclamation in Versailles of the Deutsches Kaiserreich (18. Januar 1871) after France's defeat by Norddeutscher Bund (i.e. "North German Confederation") in the Franco-Prussian war.
The video fragments are taken from the german Film "Bismarck" from 1940 with Paul Hartmann.
