It would be nice to have more Sentai/Precure crossovers, whether just a clip like with Star Twinkle or a whole audio drama like Futari wa and Max Heart got.

There's an indie Magical Girl game that could use some attention! I've only seen playthroughs from Stars In A Jam Jar and like one other person, but it's called Calico and it's soooooo cozy and cute and delightful, it's *so* classical Magical Girl, and you should _absolutely_ check it out! :O You play as a Magical Girl on a magic island full of other Magical Girls solving problems and running a cafe~

I'm the one who sent the wish for Pretty Cure English Dubs and thanks for answering. :) I would love to see English Dubs of seasons that have never been dubbed and new ones that are uncut and accurate like the undubbed ones. Maybe get Viz to produce them. They did wonders for Sailor Moon so maybe they can strike golf again with Pretty Cure. As for Glitter Force... The idea was good on paper but in execution it fell flat hard. The name changes, OST changes, the censorship and entire episodes being skipped entirely. Especially for DokiDoki which had like 19 episodes skipped over which is like more than a 1/3 of the season. I don't know if you have seen Smile and DokiDoki prior to checking out the Glitter Force dubs but the differences are night and day in terms of quality. Also, Aristocrats?! 😂. ...For those who don't know what the aristocrat joke is, DO NOT LOOK IT UP!
I would love for there to be more otona seasons specifically Fresh and Suite or even just an otona manga would be cool (anything written by the kamikita futago is always a treat to read). I too started playing Little Goody Two Shoes even though I basically never play video games and I'm having a lot of fun with it, I look forward to your play through of it if you get around to it. If you're looking for another magical girl series to check out I would recommend Demon Girl Next Door, it has a few similar qualities in worldbuilding to Madoka but has an overall lighter tone.
Didn't expect my comment to make it in! I'm a little embarassed by how I worded it, but at the time I was frustrated by how many shows were trying to deviate feom classic magical girl shows. It felt like these shows were replacing the ones I wanted to see, but now I've come to appreciate them alongside the classic ones. We probably won't have another magical girl boom, but that doesn't mean some of the modern magical girls don't have merit.
There is a Canadian English dub of Futari wa Pretty Cure that's really good. Tbh, all I want is for them to dub all the other seasons. Also, I want a new green Pretty Cure. 💚
Ohh something i so forgot to mention was dancing star precure! what an interesting precure show, i guess side season-esque? i wouldn't call it a spin-off hah, but having the all-male main cast, live action, dancing and singing how fun. oh also for anyone who doesn't know about Good Smile Company (38:42) because I looked into anime figures for a whole week a month or two ago: the homura figure imani got was a "pop up parade" figure by GSC, which have a decently good detailing and price range that can go from high $30-60 USD, but they are kind of limited time release figures that only have a preorde. They tend to be pretty hard to come across after pre-release ends, but some other retail sites can have them for longer (extra stock) or even different prices for some reason. Nendoroids are also made by GSC btw Sad thing is that so far GSC has made like nothing for precure, though they have made stuff for madoka and they've even made ojamajo doremi stuff, but again hard to get easily.
As a gal who grew up with magical girl anime (thank you, Italian state TV, for all the early Precure seasons), who also happens to be queer and also kinky: I recommend skipping Gushing over Magical Girls. It’s the kind of manga that, for each positive it has (loving relationships between girls?), drowns everything down into male-gazey stereotypes of kink as just abuse, and of queerness as very much rooted in the scary strawman of the lustful, predatory lesbian. One day we will have much, much more anime in these veins for those who would like to see themselves in those stories with loving consent and the full complexity of human relationships on show instead of just these stereotypes, but this is not one and that day will unfortunately will not be today.
I had only seen the trailer and some of the manga covers before dismissing it as soft-core porn. It seems I was right to do that, hopefully it doesn't set off any trends the way Madoka did.
I'm still new enough to the wider magical girl genre that I don't have any particularly strong wishes just yet, so instead I'll say my personal goals for 2024 include furthering my exploration. (I guess Mahoutsukai is next on my list!) Something I think would be super cool is seeing a Western take on magical girls in the vein of, say, Winx Club or W.I.T.C.H. for the modern era! (Unrelated but I am OB-SESSED with your lip shade this video, it's gorgeous and pairs so amazingly with your outfit!!)
this is a deep cut BUT: if you want magical girl games, like over a decade ago there was a fan-made Sailor Moon game called The Moon Child that I remember liking. ( I think it covered from season 1 to supers? or at least S). It did have some fan content in there but it was a very interesting version of the story.
About the hypothetical Ojamajo Doremi animated project: It would be interesting if it was a "Rebuild Of Evangelion" type thing in which it's a film series that at first seems like a reanimated recap of each season but around the second movie or so it diverges HARD from the original series.
Clear Card so desperately needs that second anime to finish everything up - I just watched it recently and it was just laughable how they were like "Welp! Here's where the story ends for now! See you later maybe?" I already knew it was coming, so I wasn't hugely let down, but it was just SO hilariously less than ideal
I saw this notification and am excited to see it show back up!! (I was hunting for it for a minute). My wish list is this: Walpurgisnacht Rising releases and English dubbed almost immediately or at the same time of release. I would like Magical Girl Raising Project Season 2. And Sailor Moon Cosmos to Release in English dub. Also I would love it for Sailor Moon Eternal AND Cosmos to also be released on Blu Ray. Oh and yes the Magical DoReMi. I preordered that magical stick as soon as I saw it. And I would be surprised if we got something My-HiME or Mai-Otome, too since that helped bring Madoka Magica into its own category (My-HIME anyway).
Positive thing with PPG is that one of the only shows in the world for Cartoon Network with the downsizing is a reboot with the original creator… so MAYBE? Maybe something can possibly happen?
The Wonderful Precure designs really surprised me because I thought they were going to be more like Pam-Pam's cure design from Delicious Party. It's not that I don't like the designs, they're extremely cute, but I never thought they would be kind of royalty-themed based on the logo. I would also like to see a cross-over movie between all the more modern magical girl franchises Toei owns such as Precure, Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi, Powerpuff Girls Z, etc! I also watched the PMMM Rebellion Movie, and idk how fans waited 7 years till Record, and now they have to wait another year till Walpurgisnacht Rising! To be honest, I would go insane lol

I’m currently showing my boyfriend the original Cardcaptor Sakura (it’s my favorite anime of all time!) and he’s been asking about Clear Card. If season 2 for Clear Card gets announced next year it’ll be amazing! I know it’s coming eventually, but it’s so hard to be patient when it’s my all time favorite, lol. My other wish is Tokyo Mew Mew nendos. It seems like nearly every major magical girl series is getting one except TMM. Even if we only got Ichigo like we did with the scale figure last year, I still would love to see her! :( Here’s hoping!

If you want to play little goody two shoes i highly recommend also playing pocket mirror! It is a gorgeous game and is the game that lgts is a prequel to! They can be played in any order
I missed the community post, but one of my wishes is to get a precure fighting game I know it’ll probably never happen but the idea of it sounds really fun with all the abilities of the cures something like smash bros I know I would main cure flora in a heartbeat 😭
For your future gaming venture I really would like to suggest the Blue Reflection Franchise! 2 jrpgs with magical girls and I truly love it. And it does even have an anime called Blue Reflection Ray that I would absolutely suggest! I think the order is Blue Reflection, then Blue Reflection Ray, and then Blue Reflection Tie.
A game that you could consider is Fields of Mistria thats being advertised as Sailor Moon meets Stardew Valley, dont know how much magic it has but the 80s/90s anime style looks so cute Another one could be Spells & Secrets, but thats more little witch academia/harry potter. I would love another black cure, either like cure black or dark precure, or a dark skin cure. If I could pick two precure season to mix in the next otona series would be go princess and dokidoki I feel those worlds could fit well
If you want to play magical girl games you migth like "Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the lost demon" on the Nintendo Switch, is a spin off on the Bayonetta Franchise and is really cute and has a very magical girl vibe. The art and the history is AMAZING! and i really wish more people gave it atettion. Another cool game i wanna try on this holidays is "Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood" i havent played it but it looks really cozy and interesting, but i heard it is for more mature audiences so that may be something you wanna consider before playing it. (Sorry for the typos, English isnt my motherlanguage and sometimes i make mistakes typing lololol)
Oh, new setting, I like it! Imagine if they give us a whole series on the hommage movie's trio and their new life at the Maho-do café?! I wanna watch that. Also I agree that they better leave the original story alone, if they make anything past Dokkan 51 chronologically it's gonna completely remove the impact of the conclusion (looking at you, OD 16). Oh, yes! I want a western release of the match 3 OD game! It has a full 3D map, classmates, and all! Also there's another magical girl game coming sometime and it has a Doremi inspired skin? iirc Speaking of new anime, this isn't magical girl per se but I really, really want the anime adaptation of Witch hat atelier to come out! I've been loving the manga and spin-off since it started and I'm really excited about it! Ooooh I made it into the video! And yeah the acrylic stands have been everywhere this year, just from memory we got easter, varsity, festival, halloween, christmas, new year, at least 3 other sketch styles for Onpu, Pop and Doremi's birthdays.... And something else than keychains, yes I want my metal keychain of Hana-chan's apprentice outfit, but give me more! There are SO MANY opportunities.... Also just Mist is fine ^^ We already have Otona OD at home, she's called OD 16 :p I think it's interesting how we've been having darker MG anime (and maybe other genres too? idk) since Madoka aired and was a success, and now we want to go back to simpler times, dare I say we want another OD? (Yes, of course I'd say that) something more hopeful and optimistic.

I love Magical Girls so I love collecting Wands, transformation items, figures, etc. I especially love Mofurun so I may a goal to collect as many Mofurun items as possible. I loved the ideas/wishes from both you and your followers and I hope they become true☆ Here's my personal list with things that haven't been mentioned: 1)I hope the Sailor Moon Cosmos and Madoka Magica new movies get at least italian dubs. Since i really liked the voice cast for both of their previous ones. 2) i hope the miraculous awakeing 2 movie is just as good as the first one, and we will get to see other miraculous holders other than ladybug and chat noir too 3) i would love if more magical manga (either new or old series) gets printed in my country Italy or worldwide. Specifically id love the new edition for Sugar Sugar Rune and perhaps Ojamajo Doremi 16 and the Precure manga mini series of all seasons in italian. 4) it would be nice if they made a tokyo mew mew à la mode anime, but with the new style of animation. 5)i would LOVE if ojamajo doremi 16 got an anime adaptation, with the style of animation used in the last movie we had. I would be ok with both a series (like otona precure) or movie. 6) i hope blue reflection sun gets released worldwide (its a magical girl rpg franchise in case you are interested in brining it to your streams!) Oh hey it's me! Yeah funny thing, I was 16 in the 2010s, got my first job and my first paycheck was spent on the peperuto poron for my MG toy collection. Put all that time and work in to pay for the expensive vintage version that was going to have a cheaper modern version released a few years later 😅 this was unbeknownst to me- sucks that the timing was off by just a few years, if I'd only been patient lmao Hopefully they'll continue this streak tho! Not really a magical girl thing I am excited for but more idol related. A new anime for the Pretty Series franchise is coming in 2024 and I am really excited for it! Also I am excited for Wonderful Precure as well.
I'll be honest as someone who has read a chunck of the manga a few years ago: Gushing Over Magical Girls is not worth the pain just for the content. It's literally just fetish content of underage girls. On a brighter note, all madoka magica movies until now had screenings in many cinemas all over italy when they came out so i'm very optimistic about being able to see it in cinemas but at the same time it has been many years since then.
i would LOVE if toei created a spin off like otena but for cure echo. my girl has been thrown aside for too long!😞i feel like it would be really interesting to explore her story that isn't her just appearing in an all stars cross over. i feel like theres a lot of potential for her and i would love it if they gave her a team to lead! that would be such a cool concept. 🤍 I really want more figuarts too
i would love love love to see an anime adaptation of Revue Starlight Re:Live! the game is pretty badly designed but the writing is incredible- some of the best stuff in the genre nowadays tbh. the Arcana Arcadia arc in particular is on par with the sequel movie! an anime adaptation would not only make the gacha's story more accessible, but allow us to see some of the great revues in their full glory. i also hope we Don't get a sequel to go! princess precure. gopri is my favorite season, but the show ending like it did was literally foreshadowed and explained by the author of The Flower Princess; the writers left the girls' futures open-ended because it would allow children to imagine their own ending to the story. the concept of a sequel would disrespect that artistic decision imo!
