Story 1: nta, im sorry but why is he so mad? It just screams red flag and honestly good on the parents for setting that up. And it is sad that the daughter feels like there rooting against the marriage. But its just a safery net. Story 2: I'm sorry but wtf, thats creepy. And just because she doesn't say anything doesn't mean sht, clearly she is uncomfortable. And anyone who thinks or act like this are idiotic. Story 3: nta, its reasonable for her to not change it back to her original last name, they are still teenagers and it would probably cause problems (since some people are like at) because the children and parents don't have the same last name. And it was agreed upon that she could change it when she felt the need, well she doesn't feel the need and wants the same last name as her children. And it is also a long and tiring process, at least that is what i know from my older brother as he changed his name and while my parents were helping him with it. It was still a long and tiring process to deal with.
