it can also help to set the sketch layer to a different color like a bright blue so that you visually separate it from the line art

Instead of using a force fade stabilizer go to the brush settings itself and turn on force fade. It looks a lot better in my opinion. However, it could be just a matter of preference.

i reccomend using felt tip pen (hard), its almost same but can be used both for lines and for colouring

I dont reccomend doing the “connect it with tiny lines” just make big confident strokes to help build line confidence and practice drawing lines! You’ll never get better if you skirt around your responsibilities and ignore/skip the fundamentals!

what i do is use that same brush, but i kinda make the opacity 80-90% then i use that default red colour and do the line art. When im done i do a new layer and a clipping and make it black or the colour i want

My only critique for smooth lines is when making thicker points don't pet the lines that is how your line work loses its smoothness. Just add pressure and swoop. The key is to just trust yourself and line. As for the stabilizer sure people can use it, but one can also learn to do lines on their own via swishes using the whole body/arm not just your wrist. It takes practice, but learning to create solid line art on your own just means you can transfer that knowledge to paper ;)
