I bought this doll. Absolutely in love with with ombre colour. So romantic yet very dark. Like the medieval period

This is the doll that got me into collecting. I saw her all over Instagram for the longest time and didn’t think anything of it besides that she’s pretty but then I went to Disney world and saw her in person and JUST had to have her. She is my favorite fairy tale princess. And I am completely bias against most other dolls.

I've honestly had no complaints with any of the dolls in the series up to this point. While there are elements about Aurora that I like, it just sort of gives off the vibe of being unfinished. Her pin has so many more beautiful details that sadly weren't included in the final product.

Wow she's beautiful and gorgeous elegant princess 👸 aurora doll i love her iconic look both blue and pink color in her dress and with a beautiful embroidery and beautiful scene in her gown .she's one of my favorite Disney princesses can't wait to buy her and see the next video you make.

I love this doll! She was the first of the Princess Celebration that I really loved. I hadn’t bought any of them including this one. But I was just browsing through Shop Disney UK and all the LE dolls up to and including Snow White have been reduced to half price! None of them had sold out. So I grabbed Aurora. Can’t wait to receive her! Also, personally, I think the inner skirt not being overly detailed is a good idea, if it was super detailed it would take away from all the details on the outside skirt and would be too busy! She is beautiful. I love how soft and elegant she is. I am really happy that they used blue and pink color because she wore them in the movie. I love her make-up and hair even though she does not have her bangs. The only downside is this piece on her dress that looks like a crown.

I love her. The face, hair and dress, but I can understand when you said the long skirt needed something than just a ombre looked looking plain. The reason why I think Disney did that is they probably felt it might take away too much from the other design skirt that wraps around it. But all in all, I love her and can't wait to see what the others look like, but I'm probably just going to get rapunzel, belle, cinderella and Anna and Elsa when they come out.

I think what could have made this underskirt better and elevate the whole look was if they made it a mini skirt. I imagine it with lots of embroidery along the bottom hem of the skirt, and it would still be ombré. That would have really made her stand out. She probably should have come with a purse also. She’s a bit too lacking in the accessories department the way she is.

Yeah pretty simple but it's a beautiful doll. Maybe when you fix up the hair it'll give her a bigger shine to her. I love the box art as well! Great review as always 😁👍

I’m so skeptical to get aurora although she is my fave.

Her new face sculpt is incredible, I think it best captures her beauty, and makes me think back to that incredible shot in the movie, when Prince Phillip kisses her, this definitely captured her lip, eye and hair colour. I like the dress, especially the gold arm bands. The bodice misfitting is likely due to the fabric, it is rather cheap so doesn't mold well to the body. This kind of fabric is often used for cheap lining, so quite disappointing that this is being used on a designer doll. Thank you for the honest review! Agree with everything you said. And yet - there’s a certain something about this look which makes Aurora really captivating to me and true to her spirit. It captures her courage in learning from her mistakes and being upfront about them (I’m too chicken to wear the equivalent of my “spinning wheel” on my sleeve!). I’m sure that vulnerability and acceptance made her a great queen. The understated outfit also captures her rustic upbringing - she did spend her life in a cottage after all :) No frills, just elegance.

Totally agree with your points. I love Aurora but I had to pass on this one because for Canadians each doll is around $300 lol. Excited for Snow White, Rapunzel, and Belle though! Great Review as always!

It's a shame, you didn't like her, but like you said there are 15 dolls in this line, She is the first one of the designer dolls that I am getting, My excitement grows for Merida, Rapunzel, and the Frozen sisters.

You may end up with two. That happened to me with both an Anna and Elsa 17” dolls that got lost in the mail. They sent me 2 more dolls. And a while later the original dolls showed up too!

Thinks for the info about the low quality skirt. I also don’t think she looks as much like Aurora as my other dolls.

I’m sorry your Aurora’s bodice is wonky! Mine also had terrible hair but I was able to mess with it. I also agree with your points on the dress. I’m not a big doll customizer but I made mine a belt out of ribbon and crystals that match her color palette and added some ribbon around the hem to make it less plain. She should have come with details like that but I think she looks complete now!
