Yeah, I agree, its not a heavy read at all. I was worried it would be like that too which is one reason why it wasn't what I expected. I really like the concept and the slightly different approach to the conversation and recommend people give it a shot, especially if you're already thinking of reading it. oh i read such a fun age last month, it was a good read for me i ended up giving it a 4 stars i liked to see the white characters' thoughts and how they always thought they were doing something good for the black main character and they were honestly just being racist af
