I just wanna point out some things so take no offense :) 1. Parents would never let kids that young wander off, especially not in a busy mall, unless they're crap parents 2. The lady who helped would have filed in a police report and put up lots of posters, even if the kid looks like an orphan at the time (bc thats what you're supposed to do) 3. The mom should/would not give up after only a few weeks, especially when all they did was talk to the police 4. No parents, even if they hate their children, will opt to forget them, spoil the other child, or get rid of all their things. Especially not the last one. Keeping their child's things the way they were is a way to 'cope' so yeah Those things just made me annoyed and I couldn't help but point them out. Other than grammar mistakes and a few plot holes here and there this is pretty good Thats it, stay safe kids :)

To everyone talking about the mom's parenting decisions: some parents just feel that their children are trustworthy to not wonder off too far as they're told. It really just depends on the kid, how responsible and trustworthy they are as a person, and how old they are. Only including age because it doesn't matter how responsible you are as kid if you're, for example, seven, you're tiny and can easily be kidnapped.
