My sister is passing away. Today we had to make a do not resuscitate decision if her heart stops. She's on life support right now. Please pray for our family. My sisters name is Robin, She's 53 and she did ask the Lord to forgive her sins. She's sedated and comfortable. Thank you for your prayers.
I want to jump on here and give some GREAT NEWS. A couple days ago my 18 year old son totalled out his truck on a slippery clay road. He was driving about 40mph (too fast for condition) started sliding, over corrected, hit ditch, flipped truck, took out a couple pine trees. Dad was about 5 minutes behind him and came up on the wreck. Son was standing outside the truck looking in disbelief (slight scratch on his arm) when dad got there. My son said he could feel the hand of God on him during this whole ordeal. It is a miracle he didn't get hurt OR WORSE. Things are bad!!! Life will throw you curve balls but your spiritual relationship with Jesus will get us through this!!! Listen to Patera she is wise. Try to get your house in order and leave the rest to God.
My best friend and I are as close as sisters. In 2005, we bought a house together to share expenses. Beforehand, we agreed on how we would split the bills and the chores. I’m an outdoor girl and she is an indoor girl, so made things easy. We’ve always helped each other with whatever the need is. I’m 70 and she is 76 now. I’m blessed to have such a godly, sweet sister to grow old with.
He who speaks the truth is always the most hated in the room. This applies now more than ever in this overly sensitive , dehumanized society we now live in.
My youngest son started his framing company about 2 years ago. So far he has lots of work. Hard for him to find good workers, and he pays a good wage! He was put in touch with a man with a family who is willing to work, but can't afford transportation. My son picks him up and is happy to do it. I wish he could find at least one more good Christian man like him, because right now in our area, the rich are still building. I pray for his business to stay afloat somehow. It's all he's ever wanted to do and I believe it came from God. As for being a baby sitter, I watch all my grand kids to help my kids. No way they should be paying those prices to be watched by strangers!!!
I am also seeing the rich are still building...... But I wonder if it's all new debt they are taking on? Time will tell. Your son's skills will always be needed somewhere!
Everyone I know has 3 generations living together. We have 2 generations in our house and all their belongings so they don't have to pay for storage. Even my daughter in mid 20's said she thinks history will call this the silent depression, because government just won't admit we are in a depression.
I was fired from my interior design job at the beginning of December of last year. Since that position was commission-based, regular paychecks were coming in until March ending with a large bonus check at the beginning of April. On top of that I have a few different income streams from other sources. So I technically didn't have to work after losing that job. Well I just recently decided to start applying for positions again, but have discovered that most companies have been extremely unresponsive. One night right before bed I prayed like normal, but during the prayer asked the Lord to help bring a job to me. That next morning in my email was a job posting for an Administrative Assistant position at a local church. I felt led to apply and the following day received an offer to interview for it, which I did. They ended up hiring me! Moral of the story: Ask and you shall receive!
Yes, absolutely. However, you also performed the actions of actually looking and applying for work. So many miss the action part and think it will just drop into their laps.
I am blessed to teach at the sweetest preschool. Between teacher appreciation week and last day of school gifts I received nearly $100 of gift cards from students. All my fellow teachers were talking about the newest tumbler cup or beach bags they are going to buy. All I could think about was stocking up on green beans! 🤣
I'm a preschool teacher too and I did the exact same thing!!! Even if I got gift cards for places I never go to, like target, I used my gift card and stocked up!
I received a $100 gift card and spent it on necessities, too. I am grateful to have it. I bought vitamins and some items for myself, but most of it went toward food as I was bringing a meal to a family that has a loved one hospitalized. I had unexpected plumbing issues this month and this gift card helped a lot. For Mother's Day I received a Lowe's gift card and that will go toward other household necessities.
On the 6th went in to work and entire company had been hacked. Service still up and only working a few hours that do not require computer assessment and if you are one of the privileged to go back on certain days.
@tammihughes6239 I go to the grocery store & ask the people that carry out my groceries how they are today. 9 out of 10 have a laundry list of gripes until I remind them how blessed they are to have a job right now! Be Thankful, Grateful & be Blessed!
Even if you're doing ok, a jar of loose change you put away throughout the year would be a tremendous blessing to someone else in their time of need! 💰
Since my husband and I were young with children at home we gardened, canned, froze food, dehydrated, raised our own meat and butchered it, milked a goat and did everything we could to care for ourselves. He took care of our cars, we painted, and did almost all our repairs on property, house and automobiles. We strived to be debt free. Finally just before he was killed in an accident we were debt free. I continue to live debt free, garden and strive to care for all my own needs. It is something we teach our children and always. Most important is keeping Jesus at the center of our lives.
Two parents both working and paying for childcare should look into one of them doing a different shift. Not only to save the expense but to keep eyes on their children.
I worked nights and my husband worked days. We would stop halfway and he would hand our son over to me when he would get home I had food on the table and I would go to bed and then get up and go back to work did this for 14 years.
@@whoknows2482 A person can figure it out. I did for years cause it was less expensive to have someone stay with the kids at night plus I got 3rd shift differential.
WELL I LOST MY CAR AND MY JOB AND SO YES ITS HAPPENING. BUT GOD,BUT GOD HAS ME. ALMOST OUT OF MONEY BUT I HAVE GOD AND HE WILL NEVER LEAVE ME NOR FORSAKE ME. IM VERY CLOSE TO THE LORD NOW SO WITH GOD I WILL COME THROUGH THIS STORM. GODBLESS YOU. HAVE A BLESSED DAY.
I have cut everything except rent, car insurance, rental insurance, and phone. I have no internet or cable bill. I do have a lot of books as I love to read. Most everything I have has been used before and I'm grateful to have what I have.
Tried to tell my sister and my kids about the situation we are in, they don't want to hear about it at all. Sister thinks Biden is good and Trump is/was a clown, and he needs to go to prison. So, I stopped trying to tell/teach anybody about where we are/where we are going. I have been working on this subject since 2005, I saw the Feds response (or slow response) to Katrina (my National Guard unit was activated for it). My wife thought I was crazy with all of my purchases until covid hit and we had a toilet paper shortage than, she thanked me for buying toilet paper and other things.
I am running out of room for cans or anything else , my medical tub turned into a medical closet , my food pantry turned into three closets full of food , my son moved out last year and we are getting ready to recover his room , paint and start putting things in there. My computer and desk are going in there and a large armoire that will be full of food. Now when I go to the store I take the most of items I used the past week and restock along with the items I need. Doing my best to store enough for me and mine and my mama and daddy , my nephew and probably a couple elderly neighbors. Whatever comes I will rely on God to pull me through. And if for some reason I am not here anymore I will leave it for those who are. God Bless you all!
It Will. Concentrate on building up the frequency with in yourself. The Schuman Resonance and the light from our star is going to change us and our planet. Sounds weird saying that out loud, but no worries because our father God's got this. He's helping us all through the transition.
All of us are going to witness the complete collapse of civilization.....a lot of us are not going to live thru it! Focus on making the best of each day you have left.....Buckle Up Folks!
I quit my job when I couldn't afford daycare, stayed home and babysat a couple children, then made more money than working and paying for daycare. I enjoyed staying home. Eventually I got registered for home childcare. I did that for a decade, then did foster parenting.
In the early 80's my husband worked for a dairy packaging plant. After house payment, insurance, car payment, utilities, groceries, ect. we had $2 left for the month for clothes, medicine and the fringe expenses. Yes it was hard. But man the skills I got from that time will never be forgotten. I made a famous 1 egg omelette for my husband and little boy. My son is now a grown man but he still talks about that one egg omelette. I picked berries and sold them. I went to yard sales and got lots of clothes. I cut the feet out of the sleeper jammies and put socks and slippers on the kids. Do what you have to and enjoy the ride. It goes fast.
I live in Cookeville. My sisters rent went up $200 a month at the first of the year. So fortunately she moved back in with our parents. Her rent would have been $1800 a month. It’s crazy. People are very fortunate if they own there own house and purchased before the interest rate went up. Im debt free for the 1st time in my life. Thanks again.
I'm blessed to have a small home but even home ownership has surprises. My homeowners insurance doubled for 2024 and since it is escrowed as a part of my mortgage payment, it caused the monthly payment to go up over $100 per month. I'm still working on that 5 cans though!!! 💪🙏 The cost of existing just keeps going up but we will get passed this...hold tight to your faith.
Call your utility company ( cable, Internet, cell phone etc) ask for the loyalty dept. Tell them this bill is getting way too expensive. They don't want to lose you as a customer. I just knocked $50/month off of my cable bill for the next year. The gentleman told me to call back in a year and ask for the loyalty dept to extend the discount. It's worth the 15 minutes it's cost you. Many blessings to all💞
WOW; this caused me to get a flash back to 1985; when my husband divorced me and abandoned his children and refused to pay child support that once I paid off child care for my young daughter I was left with $75 dollars every two weeks. I am grateful for an aunt that gave us a box of vegetables and snacks that a grocery store were dumping. Although she has passed many years ago; she allowed my children and I to survive and I was very creative and to this day my daughter’s favorite meal is potatoes and eggs with Mrs. Dash Table Blend!!!
Bless the memory of your aunt down through the years... She has become a family legend for her kindness!! Stories of how my grandfather helped others during the Great Depression of the 1930s still inspire the family!!
50 years ago my mother told me on my wedding day to put aside $2 a week and keep it to myself. My mom was divorced with 4 little girls so was very cautious and a lot like you Patera .Unfortunately she passed away at age 41 but I listened to her. So yes I have some cash put aside, it was great advice.
Our taxes doubled, our light bill is extremely high and we haven't turned on the air yet. So I've been canning items in my freezer. Boiled off ham bones and canned 15 bean soups, sausages, chicken, chicken soup. I'll do more tomorrow in between doctor appointments
God has given another blessing to my husband and I.. The landlord nextstore made us an offer for his rent house and we are taking the opportunity to move next month, downsize and just save money each month.. Keep thanking the Lord every day and abide in HIM.. I pray for this family for Gods blessings and provisions.
I have decided to live in my van. I work but can't afford rent and utilities. I'm sure I will be able to save a little now. I'm single, so I'm not too worried for the time being. Take care everyone.
70 yo mom, G, GG. Never had a garden or canned anything in my life. I have listened to your channel for some time and have taken your advise about stocking food, water, hygiene and cleaning products. Most of my family thinks I have gone loony but it will not deter me. I currently have about 6 months inventory, working towards 1 year and beyond. Although I have felt that things are wrong in this country since the pandemic happened, I appreciate your videos to assure me that I am not alone.
I was shocked I went to Menards to get some annuals for my flower pots on my porch and seen they had the price of 5$ for 1 little ole strawberry plant 😳😳
I am now in a serious mental state of Depression from being disowned by all my adult children I am at the point it’s hard to get out of bed 🛌 plus I have no one and I am elderly and disabled
I took my husbands old tires, lined them with a tarp, punched holes in the bottom, filled with dirt and bam, instant planter, my raised beds are all recycled pallets, and God bless my chickens, and thank all of you for the great ideas.
I’ve been warning for 20+ years. I’ve had the vision. NOTHING is harder when you can see and no one around you can. Nothing. I FINALLY realized at 72 years young that I am no one’s savior. Yep! It took that long. I can’t save anyone. Only One can do that. I set back in sorrow and watch the destruction,…. But I continue to do what Yahuah God puts on me - only now I have peace. I’ve warned and your blood, your poor choices are not on my hands. It’s hard. It’s sad. I pray and help where I can. I have peace.
I kept my grandchildren but sometimes they we're in day care as I had many. They are today along with my children the light of my life. Children on board. Grandchildren thinks I've lost me marbles but I many times laugh so as not to cry. To late for that. Never thought I'd live to see our Government put ILLEGALS over Americans. Sad 😥
That’s during the tribulation. When the whole eco system is falling apart. And wrath of God. The earth is shaken. The earth scorched. The ocean and fresh water polluted from a fallen “star”. Called wormwood. The book of Revelations. The seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls judgements in the Book of Revelation. The period where the anti christ reigns. This all is paving the way though. I pray for people souls. That they accept the Lord. Maranatha 🙌🏻 Come Lord Jesus
I say this humbly, but I saw this coming 9 years ago. I'm divorced in my early 60s. I sold moved out of California and moved to Texas. I have talked to my family members and friends till I'm blue in the face but they think the party is never going to end. I moved to ensure I was able to live as frugally as possible in a safer place. I have 2 people in my family that 1 spouse has recently been laid off in the past 6 months. They both have degrees and still can't find anything. Your not alone in feeling no one is listening. So sad to watch people struggle. This is only the beginning. Stay prayed up.
I did that with my best friend, we consolidated. We are in our 50's. She was about to lose her home for the taxes she couldn't afford. The house was left to her from her parents, but she never had the income to keep it. I sold my home because i was ready and the housing market was at the peak. Since then, we have made her bills current and even paid off most, except the credit cards. Her house and car are paid off and those were so stressful for her before. I don't pay her rent, but i do pay for half of all the expenses. This way i know every payment is made on time. She still works a full-time job that she wants to leave, but i keep telling her to stay until they close. She's been there for 30 years and they cover 75% of her health ins with 6 wks vacation. She won't get that anywhere else. I am a self-employed financial consultant and public speaker at events and what I see with peoples finances now is horrifying. The situations people tell me about are just mind blowing and most can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, they feel stuck like they're in quicksand. Slowly sinking. This is the middle class, slowly disappearing.
Stopping part way through. The woman should quit her job, stay home with her child, and babysit for two children. She'll make $2000 a month, and not have to drive anywhere!
They may need both jobs. One option may be for one to work a diffrrent shift if its available. That cuts the child care. Can the ladys mother offer any assistance at all? Does the mother have a home?
Yes, people are exceedingly in a terrible rush. We have to pray before we leave our homes because it just does not feel right anymore. Be in nature as much as possible.
Had to sign over my car to a family member recently. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I can't afford the insurance anymore, and I'm really not able to safely drive anymore due to leg problems. Goodbye, independence, but you have to do what you have to do.
I live up north now, but when I lived down south, the best and safest way I found to get ticks off was to drench the spot where the tick had embedded with mineral oil (vegetable oil or baby oil will work as well). The oil soaks into your skin and they back out ON THEIR OWN without leaving their head, because the oil stops them from breathing.
My 1000 ft view of the young family living off $2800 a month that you spoke of at the beginning; they would be further ahead if mom stayed home so the daycare is cut out and maybe mom babysits 1-2 kids. She could charge $600-800 a kid easily, heck even $500 and she would be further ahead.
Great idea!!! It would be awesome as long as her job wasn't the family insurance job. If that isn't an issue then they could feel a little less burden each month.
I thought of that too. It doesn’t sound like she’s working full time. If she is she’s only making $10 an hour and that’s not minimum wage. The husband for sure isn’t working full time. Sounds like he needs to step up to the plate and get a different job or a second job.
Noah was considered a fool right up until the flood started. We are entering into the biggest saddest “I told you so” in American history. God bless you Patera for continuing to encourage people to build an ark for the days ahead.
I feel so very bad for my son who is 22 years old. He cannot make it on his own. I’m not even sure I can make it anymore. Together, if he is willing, we can make it together. I would never in my wildest dreams, ever throw him out, albeit, he could be a little kinder to me 😢
The reason people are in, as you say, different stages of acceptance to our circumstances is because they're going through the 7 stages of grief. Yes. I said grief. We are grieving for the freedoms we once had. We are grieving for the country we love. We are grieving for the American way of life. And we will go through those seven stages; shock, denial, bargaining, anger, testing, depression and eventually acceptance, one by one, each individual at their own pace. No amount a discussion, yelling, praying or reasoning will change it. Pray hard for divine intervention. That will be our saving Grace
@@shake_shells11...... When I was in high school Bible was a optional class Bible 1 was Old Testament Bible 2 was New Testament. That was way back in the late 70s.
Several years back, family and others were smirking and laughing that my son and daughter hadn't moved out on their own. Many school mates were kicked out when they were 18 /19 yrs. to "figure it out as their parents did" with the "I did it, so can you" attitude. Many now are on welfare . We knew the world was changing for the worse. Knew that if we pooled our resources we would be better off, than each having little separate places, barely scrapping by. Who's laughing now. Son is 30, daughter 29 soon. We don't date - No kid/grandkids - all work at the same farm/orchard, with perks of free eggs, apples and other fruits. I was called a fool for not forcing my two out the door when they were 19, I only consider myself blessed to have good hard-working "kids" by my side.
Patara is so on top of everything going on. A lot of us patriots are beside her. I’m totally awake & trying to wake people up in Oklahoma including family
My husband brings home just a little over 1000 every two weeks, I'm on disability and receive 853.00 a month. We are blessed because our home is paid for, but that's still not much to live on.
Most people are unwilling to look into the abyss. I can't look away. My sister-in-law visited a few weeks ago and when looking at our stuffed pantry and our two chest freezers, she was shocked. "Why do you have so much food?" I said because the day is coming when the stores will be empty. "Oh I don't like conspiracy theories," she said. You just can't break through to most people.
We ft our new insurance bills for the cars and home. They went up $1400. My wife spent a day calling insurance company’s for new policies. We did not cut our insurance coverage but she ended up saving us the $1400 increase. A penny saved is a penny earned.
I went through a situation a few years ago in which I lost my husband, my health, my job, insurance and my home. I had to apply for disability which took a long time to get. I moved home with my parents at the age of 55. Times were hard but God took care of me and provided for me. I trust Him to continue to do so come what may.
Two cans of chilli, 2 canned hams..put em in the bag..thought of you..but because I have been doing that for 2 years..I now sleep on boxes of spam n black beans! Not kidding
Patara, you built and will leave a legacy! How many people here walk past the beanie weenies and literally hear Pataras voice say "Get yourself a couple cans of Beenie weenies!" Or grab a can of something and hear her voice say "Get yourself 5 cans a week!" ?
I have yet to hear any cicadas at my home in NW TN. We went to an Amish store today and I definitely seen Bidenomics there. My mouth has no filter and I commented Bidenomics in action to an older lady standing next to me. I said I don’t understand how people will vote for this man; she said I don’t like Trump. I respected her opinion🙁 and told her that we are all Americans and only want the best. People are so blind about what is on the horizon; I have several friends included with this. We can just pray for God to return quickly.
I think that's why a lot of people come to your channel .. People who know what's going on understand we're all in the same boat and we can relate.... I feel so blessed because me and my family stay prayed up and we have an awesome church family. I took heve to prepping long enough ago that now I'm not in a horrible position... I'm doing my best I keep pushing forward... I'm the matriarch of my family so they look towards me for security but we all work together to get prepared. The most important thing is to keep God first!!! Prayer really does change things 🙏
PATARA…..THANK YOU ❣️❣️❣️ “ I “ am listening. I’m 65 and my FIRST ( minimum ) canning items will arrive Friday ❗️❗️❗️ I have been watching your canning videos and others as well. I’m excited to start canning on Saturday. Again THANK YOU ❣️❣️❣️
I wonder if a nice older couple or lady would watch the child for half what they're paying. Would be great for the child to be showered with attention and would financially help both families. Just thinking out loud. I'm praying for everyone.
I am a nurse… And today one of the techs said that she had to pay $50 a day to Uber to work… I offered to buy her a bicycle. She said she did not know how to ride. I told her I would teach her this is how these kids are leaving livingand she’s trying to support a small child
Today is June 2, 24 I just started watching you. I tried to go back and find the gateway pundit article on the website. However, I think it doesn't go back that far. So I am getting into this game a little late. Better late than never though!
Holding onto my job... hubby is stage 4 kidney disease and we are praying for a donor, hes 57 and its a hereditary condition. Luluckily hes still able to work remotely and travel minimally
The yucky part in this is that families and even friends are going to HAVE to live together. The blessing is that families and even friends are going to HAVE to live together...
My husband and I have always had a change jar that we would empty our spare change into. It amazed me how much you can accumulate a little at a time for an emergency or just a family vacation. When it got relatively full, we would roll it up and put it in a box for a "rainy day". I never imagined that spare change could be a blessing, but it can be. My prayers go out to all who are struggling medically and financially.
Canada is pushing the 15 min. cities. I have cash stashed and replacing what I had to spend for when I was out for 7 weeks unpaid at my part-time job for sciatica. I'm 72 and have cut back on utilities. I am in a dark house right now with one 40 watt lamp in my livingroom. I will have 1 light on when I brush my teeth before bed. One light on in my kitchen when I fix my breakfast before going to work. I take surveys online to earn gift cards to use at Walmart.
I agree that we are in an economic depression and that in a few years it will be obvious that it started this year. The economic “numbers’ by the government and media that we are told are massages so much they are useless and misleading. My wife and are elderly. Because we have been financial preppers for many years, we can get by. But we still focus on frugality. We don’t have cable. We don’t do subscriptions. We have the cheapest phone ☎ plans. We combine trips to save gas. We watch our electricity use. We don’t throw away anything that can be used for something. Our city lot is small but we use every area to grow fruit trees and veggies. My wife shops groceries on markdown day for what limited meat we eat, and sales items. I buy clothes as Marshalls, etc, but we dress plainly. TEMU is our latest discovery for cheap tools and household goods. We keep 50 lb bags of rice and dried beans stocked up for emergencies. We dry some of our fruit and store it. We dont need fancy things after 45 years of marriage, we’ve got the grace of God and each other.
I am glad I own my house free and clear and own all my vehicles. I am glad I took the time to learn to grow food and can. I am glad that I know how to fix stuff when it breaks. People used to look at me like I wouldn't take all that time and fix that old car, I would just by a new one.... They are now dealing with trying to hide their cars from the repo man and not get evicted. The reality is everything is going up except my paycheck, but life hasn't changed much for me. I am still just living life to the fullest.
Something else to have on hand... for when we are without electricity, books, the old-fashioned kind, no EMP can keep a real book from being read, puzzles, and of course candles, and matches.
If you do get bit use a gift card or something with a v cut in it to get them off instead of your fingers to keep the tick from exploding into the bite and giving you Lyme Disease
@@lauraroberson9937 That's a brilliant idea! I've always taped down my pants to my boots, but I never thought of using the sticky side up! I'll bet it would work on my hat and the back of my collar as well! Thanks so much for the heads up! ♥️
we have come to the place in time that we know people we love will not wake until its too late,as sad as that is there is nothing more we can do but pray for them. Our hearts our heavy also.
