As someone who is born in a Hindu family and someone who try to practice Sanatan Dharma I should say that Temples were meant to be place of meditation, spirituality, and seeking your connection with with creation and the creator from within. Temples were meant to charge anyone with the positive energy to continue with their life. This temple is impressive but its more like a tourist destination.

Not necessarily. Bhakthi yoga (worship) is also part of the process for those who can't comprehend the technicalities of meditation. Anything that makes the mind stable is a form of meditation that doesn't need to be a physical meditation. Yes for enlightenment many people need meditation to realise the self.

Anyone who visits this or any such Mandir will definitely be inspired spiritually and will feel peace of mind, that includes tourists and aspirants alike. We get a lot of South and central Americans at our Mandir and some leave with tears in their eyes and all feel inspired and peace in their hearts.

Thousands of years ago our hindu people used to create much more fascinating temples without using any machinery. A British guy back then even fired a bullet on temple's terrace unable to beleive that the 1000 year old temple is made of granite and without using any machinery. Try visiting 'Kailasa temple' in India. It is carved out just from a single big stone,and it took 105 years to make it back then. Anyways,excellent video.

A temple gives out positive vibes. Idols are not just stone forms. You have look at them with your "mind's eyes".You feel some inexplicable attachment to the god's presence and overwhelmed with spirituality. Chant " Aum Shanthi" Only Hindu Dharma says "Sarvejana Sukhinobhavanthy" which means "May all (irrespective of your faith) live happily"
