I love your kitchen! Absolutely gorgeous. I love how you let your family heirloom influence your design choices and it all really flows together. What a lovely space.
I know it looks messy up close but I actually really like the scuffed fridge handles! Explaining that it got beat up over the holidays with loved ones around brings some "homeyness to it" without it looking super beat up or an eyesore and I love that!
Love your entire kitchen. I made the switch to stainless steel pots and pans and have no regrets. I took a weekend to research using them properly, and it's been worth it. Now that I know how to properly use them, cleaning them is pretty easy and I feel like my cooking results have improved and are more consistent. Mine are from William Sonoma, so they weren't cheap, but I have no regrets! Totally worth the investment!
I used to care about things always looking new - now I love the patina and appreciate when something is well used and loved. Embrace the handles ageing!
Jules, can you please share more about your whole-home water filtration system? what does maintenance look like? how did you go about getting it installed? cost? etc?
Love this video! Thank you so much for sharing all of your favorites - helps give me inspiration! I was curious if you have a cleaning routine for your Fellow Kettle? You mentioned you've had it for a few years and the kettles I have always build up a limescale overtime. Do you have any tips? I was also curious where your slippers are from! Thank you!
I was thinking about organizing my kitchen tomorrow, and your video comes, wow just at the right time 😊 your kitchen is so clean and neat, and I always love your vibes ❤
The kitchen looks amazing, I especially love what you did with the island woodwork, definitely makes things unique. For your pots and pans, I HIGHLY recommend the Our Place Always Pan. I saw a few influencers using it and took the plunge (costs quite a bit) since I am always replacing my nonstick pans and it has been wonderful I like it better than my stainless steal pots and pans.
I love our iron pots they are durable and pretty now that they come in various different colours. The only con that is a good thing for me is that you get to do a workout everytime you use one because they are heavyyyy =D
Love all the recommendations, and I can't say enough about Hexclad. Best pans I've ever owned, and in fact, all their products are amazing. I honestly think I may never have to replace them lol
You’re making me want to paint my kitchen cabinets. It will look soooo good for my videos / coffee station videos but it’s so much work to do ourselves!! I love your kitchen, thank you for sharing!❤
beautiful home! i found you from your home office tour video and subscribed immediately upon mentioning maisyleigh, i love her so much. you both have cozy homes but in your own ways! i love that you centered your kitchen's colors around your halmoni's cabinet, what an amazing heirloom to have gotten! i wonder would it get sunwashed from being next to a window over time? it's just so beautiful so it would be a shame if it faded over the years from sun exposure. anyway love your channel's vibes, i'll definitely be bingeing it while crocheting~
This was so fun! Thank you for taking the time to show us around. Is your countertop quartz? We're planning a big kitchen renovation and we're considering quartz but I'm worried about it scorching. Everything is so beautiful. I am excited to see if you and Andrew decide to have kids how your style changes. I love so much about your style but have three little girls and I just keep thinking about how to keep it all clean and beautiful. Thanks again for sharing your journey. It's a pleasure to be along for the ride!
Love it all! I'm looking for a kitchen soap/dispenser caddy - do you recall where you found your two dispensers and tray to prevent soap/water on the counters? Love your entire home!!
I'm pretty sure you could have a television show. I'm a new subscriber, but I'm already feeling like everything you share is so interesting (for me) and gives all the pertinent information. Can you tell me the name of the coffee glass thingy in the corner that needs to be super straight in order to work? I LOVE it and I want it! Thank you 🙂
I’ve been cleaning my electric kettle and microwave with citric acid and it works great to get any sort of brown discoloration off of my glass baking dishes, so maybe it could help with the cookware issue.
For your pots, have you tried BarKeeper’s friend and a scrubdaddy? I heard they work really well and don’t scratch! Always in love with your videos. Your home is my dream home: the colors, the way everything matches 😍 I also love how organized you are, not just the way you setup your videos but your posts with handy links. ❤️
@@julesacree I’ve heard the pink stuff cream may work as well! The pink stuff itself can as well but it’s an abrasive so shouldn’t be used on certain things. Give those a try! You’ll notice a night and day difference! Barkeepers has a spray, cream, and powder. For your pots either cream or powder should be perfect. Once you start scrubbing it should start coming off!
I love your home. Very inspiring 😊 I wonder if you could get some type of clear silicone grip that custom fits your fridge handles. I know it’s not ideal but it would make the scratches less obvious and prevent further scratches. And it would be more ergonomic! I would definitely complain to the manufacturer! That’s a big flaw! Very frequently touched area. Do you have a vacuum you recommend for carpet that is quiet?
Beautiful kitchen. Its absolutely ok to decorate with black. No explanation needed. I often find thst designers absolutely love black esp black accent walls but the average consumer has different ideas about it. Its associated with so much negativity but its a beautiful color.
I love how put together your kitchen is. Me and my husband, however, are a bit more IKEA fans, mostly because of the low cost and its practicality. But also because some of brands that you and other american RU-vidrs that I follow use can't always be shipped to Europe or cost too much (mainly because of the shipping cost and taxes).
Your kitchen is stunning and so beautifully organised!! Do you mind me asking the dimensions of your pantry please? I'm hoping to incorporate a corner pantry into our kitchen Reno and yours looks like the perfect size 😀
I love your kitchen and your style. I loved what you said at the end that you couldn’t be able to be an interior designer for other styles 😂😂 I’m an interior designer and I have the same struggle but it is fun to explore other perspectives! Anyway, I don’t see an oven… do you have one?
This video came at a perfect time for me as I’ve just moved into a new home and trying to figure out where everything goes in the kitchen! Where did you get the organizers for pots and pans?
All-Clad is the best. I’ve had my set for 10 years and they are amazing! We have Caraway too and they are nice but not as versatile as stainless steel and they have stains like yours do which drives me nuts.
Is the mat that's going over the edge of the counter in your coffee/Matcha corner for the espresso portafilter when you're pushing the grounds in? If so, where is it from? I've been looking for one like that!
I'd love to learn more about your gut health journey! I was diagnosed with SIBO in 2020 by a naturopathic doctor who used natural medicines (Chinese herbs, magnesium citrate, etc.) to heal the root cause of my issues. I now take a few supplements to maintain a healthy gut : )
